LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Trying to become a morning person and also move away from the jarring phone alarms, so I scooped up this little guy; the hatch just seemed way too expensive! While I still feel like the cost is a bit high, I do love this clock! It was super simple to set up, provides great lighting if you want to use it as your nightside table light! The alarm has a few volume settings, so you pick how loud the beep is which is nice for both light and heavy sleepers! You also control how bright the 'sunrise' gets when your alarm goes off; the clock will start raising the sun around 45 min before your alarm time to provide your body a more natural wake up.The only thing I think the hatch has that this doesn't is the different sounds: like nature sounds, water, etc... this one just beeps but that's fine with me because the nature one would freak out my dogs.I love it, my dogs even respond to it. They know when the light gets brighter it means breakfast time! It's definitely been helping ween me off my phone.

Best product I’ve ever bought!
I read a book about sleep and it suggested getting a sunrise lamp. I always wanted one but they were either too expensive or too cheesy. The one thing I wanted was a lamp that would turn off completely in the night so that it was pitch black. This one does exactly what I want. It is so perfect and it makes waking up so much better

Very simple
Overpriced, but great for a simple sunrise light, which is all I wanted. Most other options have far more features than I need. It was very easy to set up, but I wish it had a simple "off" button for the light one it's at full brightness. Instead, you need to hold down a button until it dims off (about 10-15 seconds). The design is good, doesn't tip over, and the time display automatically dims to match the lighting in the room. I just use the light, not the beeping alarm.

Not worth the money
We wanted to try a different brand if sunrise clock after having issues with quality & the app with Hatch. Lumie, however, was way more disappointing. The quality was not good, it felt as if we'd paid $30 instead of $100. This model doesn't let you customize anything either. So you've got a 30 minute sunrise & the only sound is a buzzing alarm which seems counterintuitive to being woken up gently. We ended up returning it because, honestly, it wasn't worth what we paid for it.

Best way to wake up in the morning!
I really missed my old Biobrite digital sunrise clock. I had it for many many years until it stopped working. This is the absolute best way for me to wake up in the morning. It is a slow sunrise in your bedroom, waking you up gently- not like other loud alarm clocks that feel like a bucket full of water was thrown at my face.In searching for a replacement, the Lumie Shine 100 is a very close second. I like it more than the Lumie Shine 300. I purchased both. The Lumie Shine 100 is MUCH easier to set up than the Lumie Shine 300. The main difference between the two is that the Lumie 100 only enables you to set one alarm time. The Lumie 300 enables you to pre-set an alarm time for each individual day- so if you have different wake up times each day, the 300 is best. But for most people who have a consistent schedule, the Lumie 100 is the way to go. I cannot emphasize enough how hard the Lumie 300 is to set up. Many reviewers said the same. But Lumie 100 is fairy simple to set up.

Works well, nice design
Does exactly want I want and need. Helps me wake up and go to sleep. I don’t use the audio alarm feature because my phone works much better for audio. The sunlight wake up is gradual, and I have found that setting my audio alarm to go off about 10 minutes before the brightest light of the clock gives me the best results.A few more things:• It does have a 12 hour clock feature, though it is hard to find and access.• The design is good and it looks nice in my night stand. It seems a little overpriced, but was comparable to other nicely designed light clocks. I would love it it was a little more customizable (like the amount of time on the sunset feature) and the snooze time.Overall, it is easy to use and does what I need.

Impossible to set up
I finally put up black out drapes in my bedroom and now I sleep too long so I bought this to provide light in the morning. I can’t figure out how to set it up. I even used a magnifying lens in my attempt to match the symbols on the device with those in the manual. They don’t match. I’ve tried every combination in my quest to have light come on in the morning at the same time every morning. That’s all I want. No alarm. No night light. No other features. I trashed it and got a programmable timer to use with a regular lamp. Works like a charm and a lot less expensive.

Game Changer!
I have had my Lumie for almost three years. It is very dark now in the morning (November) and its seriously the only way I can wake up and get out of bed in the morning before it gets light outside. I love waking to light instead of an alarm. I do set my alarm on my iphone about 45 min later than my light (which is 15 minutes past the full light Lumie gives out) just in case I don’t wake up but most mornings my Lumie does the job. I love the way it slowly lights 1/2 hr. before my set time. Just a note- i purchased a much cheaper light before Lumie and returned it. I’m very happy with my purchase.
