150 Count EXTRA WIDE Fat Boba Drinking Straw 8 1/2" Striped.

I ordered these the first time in 2017. Now in 2023 I am ordering my 5th package. I first ordered them to stabilize multi-layer cakes and they work wonderfully for that, but then they became our everyday go-to's and we can't live without them! I like them for my water because I feel like I drink more when I use them, and we all use them for smoothies and shakes regularly too. They wash very well and each straw can get multiple uses. Never thought I'd be writing a review about my love for a certain straw lol, but here we are!

I make a smoothie every morning, and have always used reusable straws (some soft, some rigid). Those are great for the environment, but not so good for my health because they are EXTREMELY difficult to clean. Even with straw brushes, I struggle to get them clean. For thick smoothies in a tall 24-ounce Tervis, though, neither typical-diameter long straws (which are too narrow) nor wide-diameter smoothie straws (which are too short) will work. Trying to find the perfect smoothie straw is like being Goldilocks trying to find the perfect porridge.When I found these straws here on Amazon, I was THRILLED. They are extra wide, so they work for thick smoothies, are long enough to fit in my Tervis Tumblers and other large 24-to-32-ounce tumblers, and are disposable, so there is no concern about mold!These straws come bundled in several smaller bundles of individually-wrapped straws (yes, I know they are bad for the environment with all that plastic). The straws are all translucent with colored stripes, and are, as the description states, EXTRA wide. They are a little too wide to fit in some tumbler lids, but I can squeeze them into my Tervis straw lids.The bottoms of the straws are angled, which helps with smoothies because there isn't a problem with suction.I would highly recommend these to anyone who needs a wide straw for smoothies, milk shakes, or other such uses.

I’ll be using these straws for crafting. This way they will not be one use disposables that end up in a sea turtle’s nose. The inside of the straws are big enough to slurp up the frozen bits from fruit smoothies. The straws are also big enough to clean out the inside and re-use.

I love to make homemade milkshakes and I like them thick. Those little straws you get at the grocery store just don't cut it. These are great but I have two complaints. One, they are almost too big and any think less than a super thick shake feels like drinking from a hose. Just too much at once. Two, the angled end makes it impossible to get the last bit from the cup. I end up having to turn it over where the angle is at the top. All in all, very happy with these through!

I make really thick health drinks, slushees, shakes . These are perfect AND they wash up nicely in the dishwasher! I have sooo many that I’m tempted to look on Pinterest for crafts projects using them! Recommend highly!

I was pleasantly surprised by the strength and quality of these straws. As a professional cake artist, it's great to find reliable tools of the trade. I wouldn't suggest anything but heavy duty wood or plastic dowels for anything over 2 tiers, but these straws are perfect for smaller 2 tier cakes or single tiered double barreled styles. Easy to cut & level. Will def be ordering again, thank you!

the straws are boba straws; hence, they are identical to a straw you would receive when you buy a boba. I was looking for straws to drink my coffee with (trying to reduce staining my teeth), and these work. But, the straws have a half cone shape at the end (that's a boba straw for you) which makes it impossible to drink the last bit of fluid left in the cup. They are also to wide for me (that's a boba straw for you), so I have to bite the straw when drinking fluids from it. I should have bought a smaller straw. But other than my mistake in buying a boba straw, these are great boba straws.

I have to confess, I don't actually love these straws.Are they striped? No. But I read the reviews and accepted that I could live with an "ugly" straw (really guys? You’re concerned with the color of your STRAW?! I’ve seen how some of you dress).Are the "EXTRA WIDE Fat"? Umm...oh yeah. I was looking for a jumbo straw and had been let down in the past. These are jumbo. These are WAY bigger than I was looking for. They're not just useful for thick smoothies, I'm fairly certain you could suck most of your meals through these straws.I'll use these up and then will continue my Goldilocks journey in search of the juuuuust right straw.
