Dowdle Jigsaw Puzzle - Coney Island - 500 Piece

I recently purchased a couple of Dowdle puzzles to take for rainy days on my vacation. I enjoyed working the puzzles and found them to be both educational and fun. However one of the puzzles was missing a piece. I had heard of the “no missing piece “ warranty. So I decided to put it to the test.I went to where I ordered the puzzle on Amazon and was directed to contact Dowdle directly. I did that and was promptly told that Dowdle would send me a new replacement puzzle. I received the replacement one week later and am pleased with the process.

Bought this as a bday gift and the person loved it. The packaging in very secure and nicely done. The box art is beautiful as well as the background story that accompanies the item.Overall it is a great item for any puzzle lover or just a nice genuine gift to someone you love.

Had to have this puzzle when I saw it. This was my fifth Dowdle puzzle I think? Always great quality. Random shape pieces, not a ton of puzzle dust. Unfortunately 500 is the largest piece count they have for this one. Just finished it now, it only took a few hours. Love the theme and the colors though!

The Dowdle puzzles are excellent quality. The pieces are "substantial" - not flimsy like a lot of puzzles. The colors are vibrant!

Dowdle's exceptional cutting adds to the enjoyment: Whose legs/arms are these? Whose hotdog is this? Is this a margin piece or not? You can tell people are having a fun time, and you get drawn into the fun.

I have a few other puzzles by this brand and I really like them. This is my favorite. It only has 500 pieces whereas my other ones had more. I think realistically, I need to stick with smaller pieces or it takes forever for me to finish! Part of the issue is my vision. I have to wear glasses for reading and up close vision. The image of this is not too crowded therefore, it is easier for me to see. I had a 1000 piece one of the world by the same company and there was so much detail crammed into it, that it was really difficult for me to see it adequately for me to work it. The actual pieces of this are smallish, but the details are not crammed. I like that these puzzles come with posters which are easier to deal with than the box lid when assembling puzzles. They also include a plastic zipper baggy to keep the pieces in when you're done. The boxes are really good, too, and are designed well so you don't accidently spill the contents! This is a bright and colorful puzzle. The pieces are good quality. They're small, with a few weirdly shaped ones, but overall, they are fine. I'm going to check into other puzzles by this brand!
