Forum Steampunk Crinoline Underskirt

I expected a cheap little brown crinoline see through skirt to put under something or to wear and then to make sure you slipped on a pair or boy shorts or tights to make sure you didn't want to show too much, if you were the type to not want to show too much. It is a good crinoline underskirt and I didn't expect the lining so I was pleased. I can wear this with a costume or a dress up night out (costume type dress up) and not worry about seeing through it. So even though I bought it for one reason, now I feel I've got many reasons and costumes that I will wear this. The model in the picture made it look very very short but although it's a mini skirt, it's not that mini so it's even a more surprise with that also. If someone wanted it short short, you could roll down the top (like my friends and I've done many times) with other items to make it just right. But this was a great purchase and I look forward to incorporating it in my week long fun and frolic in New Orleans for Halloween week this year!

Arrives fast, flat, and wrinkled. So spritz and shake it out. I'm a smallish size (5'3" 115#) and it fits my waist. It has a sheer over skirt with an opaque layer underneath. It reaches my knees. Hum..... I envisioned using it as a poofy slip under a costume skirt. This will not work for that. (Unless you are a square dancers or .......). It's too long. Not sure what to do with it. Not cute or cool enough for costume wear. Too unusual and wrinkly and inexpensive looking for regular living.

It's a little puffier/longer/ and overall just bigger than I expected. It was so fluffy and didn't sit very comfortably under my corset - but that's also because I needed to roll ot up a few times, otherwise it would've gone past my knees. I'm 4'11" for reference and had the rolled up bit sitting at my natural waist and it STILL hit just above the knee

I'm returning the skirt. It's pretty much as it is described, but for me the acetate fabric is way too scratchy. I have other tutus and the netting is softer on the skin.. I did not like the feel of this one. Color is PERFECT - chocolate brown. Not sure why this is so hard to find in tutus!

I ordered this for a wedding and I am a size 12 pant and I am 5'2". I felt like the skirt was a little big in the waist. Although would have been wearable. It hit me about my knees. I found something in a different color that I liked better so I ended up returning it. However, if this came in blue I would have kept it.

This is an adorable skirt and pairs very well with the steampunk corset I got my daughter for a cosplay outfit. The fabric is not cheap but not terribly high quality, it does have a lovely shimmer to it. The tiers are done well, as opposed to some that seem to be just put on top of each other similar items, I think due to the well placed rouching.

I wear a 6-8 and it fit well. It has an elastic waist which might be tight on someone who is larger. It is very stiff and costumey, not something you could ever wear for another occasion. But, for what it is and the price, it is just what I needed.

Not bad for one size fits all. I'm a size 13 and it fit very comfortably. The only downsides: quality is scratchy like others said, and the bottom ripped very easily. Only got to wear once (but it was for a costume anyway.) Otherwise nice product for a temporary steampunk costume.
