Decopolitan Industrial Wrap Around Telescoping Curtain Rod Set, 72-144", Silver

This item is a semi-spaceage composite material. That's all you really need to know. It isn't metal, but it's appears to be. It's sturdy and easy to install and 9 out of 10 people admiring this cool curtain rod won't know what it is until you decide to tell them. It looks great over my huge windows suspending some pretty sweet Amazon Basic Blackout curtains. My room is transformed from pretty cool to mega sweet. If you insist on metal pipe run over to Lowes and buy what you need and then install them. You will discover that the heavy pipe requires in wall anchors and is much more effort and cost. Update: I enjoyed the silver curtain rod so much in my own room that I purchased the same item in bronze color. Yea, it looks great with my ceiling suspended drapes.

Great rods, the exact look I was going for

I love these curtain rods!! These were exactly what I was looking for. I looked around everywhere and no one had the color, style or this price. They are perfect and worth every penny. I purchased 4 for each room (dining, master bedroom and my kids 2 bedrooms). If you’re not a handy man, I recommend purchasing an electric nail gun to make install quick and painless. It was SUPER EASY to install. My husband is not a handy and and hung them up in less than 90 minutes. The hardest part was figuring out how high to hang them so the curtains wouldn’t drag on the floor (we did 2.5 inches up and 3 inches out and the curtains hang perfectly). My number one reason for buying was the fact that the curtains can wrap around the rods and hide the sun light. We also have thick curtains so no sunlight comes in and we can finally sleep in. The rods are very sturdy and the value for the money is spot on. Really great investment. We can used these for years to come. I’ll never buy any other curtain rods ever again!!!

These curtain rods are just fine for hanging curtains on our back porch. However, "industrial" might be too strong a word to describe them. The rods are metal but not of a heavy gauge. The wrap around end pieces are plastic and painted silver. I've only had them for a few weeks but seem to work fine. Though installed outside they're not directly exposed to the weather. Hopefully they hold up long term.

This is a nice rod. Heavier duty than a lot I’ve had. It has three pieces for super wide windows. I only used two for a sliding glass door. Fits perfect. Looks great and holds heavy blackout curtains.

These were so easy to install and extremely sturdy. The curved ends loop my black out curtains and make my room so dark. Highly recommend!

This holds a full size drape (all one piece) 100" wide and 84" long. It is a double black out drape so quite substantial. It holds the drape with no droop in the middle at all. Because the drape is all one piece it is not possible to put the extra piece in the middle for support. And that's fine because this rod doesn't need it!

These curtain rods are exactly what I was looking for. They are a light aluminium type material but look just like the heavy metal pipe. The instructions were easy to follow and it included a templet to ensure that the rods go up straight. Took us hust a few minutes to install.
