A must read for every product professional
This is a well crafted book - it's as well organized and presented as the Design Sprints that they advocate. The first half does a strong job of making the case for Design Sprints, defining the "What, Why, When, of Design Sprints, followed by a substantially meaty second half focused on the "How" The book is full of real-world examples, both of successes and failures that we can learn from. The second half is especially rich, with a detailed walkthrough of each phase - Understand, Diverge, Converge, Prototype, and Test. Following the walkthrough, there is a "recipe" - the "How To" listing out the ingredients (Materials Needed), the cooking instructions (How), as well as information on the Difficulty, Size of Participating Group, the Approximate Time, Don't Dos, and a Credit (where credit is due).I recommend reading it cover to cover the first time, and then keeping it on your desk as you'll inevitably refer back to it many times while doing your own version of Design Sprints.Good companion books include Gamestorming by Macanuto and two related books, The Design Thinking Playbook and The Design Thinking Toolbox by Lewrick, Link, Leifer.

design sprint is simple and very very smart, it teaches us the meaning of meaningful work
design sprint is simple and very very smart, it teaches us the meaning of meaningful work. It has a excellent process, framework and practical exercises in order to increase the likelihood of success. The fact that there are no caps in the title show simplicity, elegance and degree of detail in this book......if you are doing design sprints and want ideas or want to teach people in your organization you need this book.

Great resource / follow guide to design sprint
Design Sprint is a book that will take you through the process of a design sprint. The book offers great insight of how to run a design sprint. It even lists suggestions for tools, post-it sizes and lots of great tips for each of every phase. The book is written in a tutorial fashion. By this I mean that it goes step by step introducing each phases purpose, outcomes and how to run the events successfully. You can use this book as a consulting resource for your first design sprints. When reading the book, because of its practical nature, you will probably keep on thinking how you would apply what you are reading to your current projects.I really do not dislike anything particular about the book, but the way it is written took me a bit for surprise and if you are considering a non-practical book, this is probably not the best to get, but if, on the other hand, you are looking for something to quickly go through the design sprint phases or as a refresher or quick inspiration, this is definitely a great option. As with any development framework or process keep in mind that if you are not already using these kind of approaches at your work it may be hard to implement. By this I mean, that it is always good to learn different ways to ideate ideas and bring them to life but if your company does not support this way of working it will be difficult to get everybody on board.

An essential resource for product managers
This is a design book that certainly practices what it preaches. Quite readable, well organized and lots of visual appeal. Provides lots of practical tips and steps. Like a fine cookbook, it will allow practitioners to adapt the steps to guide any type of group creative process.

Poor Print Quality
The book seems like good content so far but the print quality is very poor (surprising given the design/product topic). The paper is very thin, the type is blurrys in parts. I also very quickly ran across a typo. If this were a $15 book I would expect less.

Accelerated Design
Halfway through the book and already applying much of the methods discussed. If the rest of the book was blank I would still think I got my money's worth. The book reminds me of the approach old design studios had decades ago when people actually worked together. I think this will follow or parallel the great insights from IDEO

Very good book for start agile design
This book teaches about how to start in a very good way a product discovery cycle. It explain very well a lot of artefacts and very valuable tips. However it doesn't has an applied example from the beginning to the finish.
