Nice readable screen, good build quality
I am using this LCD for a custom printer which I'm building with an mks board. It also works just fine with an Ultimaker and Marlin. The display is very readable, at least once you adjust the contrast. There is a small potentiometer on the back which allows you to adjust it to your liking. Some people complained because it requires adjusting, but I would consider it a plus, some LCD's I've used before didn't have the ability to change, and they were hard to read. This screen works out of the box, assuming your firmware is set to this type of LCD. In marlin I had to choose the reprap lcd option. The buzzer has a nice tactile sound too. It also has a stop button to stop the printer, safety first! This was easy to use, I'd recommend it to anyone who needs an lcd for a printer they want to build.

Works great
Has a slim contrast dial so it fits the Prusa cover/mount perfectly. The shaft for the Prusa knob is a little long, but it comes with its own knob so no biggie.Cables are perfect length for my project. Might want to wrap them, though. I've had a couple of screen glitches due to interference. If you're using an MKS board, you'll need to flip the cables around on one end. I used flush cutters to chop the tab off.Overall, great build quality. Comes with everything you need (including instructions.) So far it's working well!

Cable orientation not as pictured
I bought this to replace an existing unit whose SD card reader went bad. There's a lot of inconsistency about how the cables are oriented (EXP1 and EXP2). I picked this one because the orientation matched the board I already had (notch on the top), but when it arrived it was not as pictured. I was hoping not to have to do an ad hoc workaround and ended up disappointed.

It worked correctly for about 3 weeks. After that the screen wouldn't power up unless my printer was plugged into computer. Even when it's plugged into my computer, if I try to print from my SD card (which worked before the screen stopped working) I get stringy prints now; so basically the screen is worthless now. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the screen or the printer (which is a DIY prusa i3 printer I also bought from reprap guru). I emailed reprap guru twice about the issue and have gotten no reply. I called today and am now waiting to see if they call back. Not holding by breath at this point. I will repost this review to the printer I bought also to warn people of the issue and lack of support.

Good screen, Some small annoyances with contrast
I bought this screen with my REPRAPGURU Prusa I3 (running ramps 1.4) with the hopes of eventually not having to use a laptop to print something. I am still tweaking and learning to understand the printer, but I am confident that one day it will just be me using the SD slot on this to load a part into the printer. The good:I was able to make some brackets to hold it neatly on the printer which helps keep it in a nice spot. I also like just having an extra screen, telling me how long the print has been going. I also love that since i bought the printer from the same company, the screen was plug and play. Everything worked as it should, i didn't even need to change the Arduino code. The bad. This may just be the screen, but when I don't have a computer plugged into it, the contrast drops and I can barely read the screen. When I plug the computer into the arduino, I can. I'm sure once I just go to using the screen, I can adjust for that, but I understand how it makes such a difference.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and believe with some tweaking, I can get this to work as it should.

It works wobderfully.
Works 100% with my Robo R1 Plus. By far the best $15 you can spend, except for the services of an Asian prostitute. It was easy to install and works without any hacking or modifying of the printer.
