5 sisters that don’t have a great relationship. 3 live in their hometown, a wedding brings another home. She’s a lawyer that just found her husband cheating on her. So many complications and misunderstandings, in the end they do work it out, lots of drama.

Adult language
I couldn't get past the second chapter with the F bomb. Sorry, but that ,to me, is the worst word in the English language and I quickly deleted the book from my device. This could have been a great storyline without this.

Barely three stars
The storyline was good enough and the sister characters were believable except for the fighting and word slinging between Cat and Bee. However, get an editor. This is the second, and fixed, edition and it had this many errors? Missing quotation marks. Skipped lines. Paragraph run together. Wrong words as in play for pay and about for out.

Truths, lies and confusing connections
When Brenna walks out of her office, and in on husband Toby with her assistant, she finds a bit of passion again- mostly directed at trashing the phone and work station of the tramp, still ....Going to her hometown for a family wedding is a good chance to look back, and to think about how she might want to move forward.Sister stuff is never easy, and sorting the disaster their biological parents left behind fell on their elder sister, a young pregnant mom.Fighting through the kid stuff to the sister bond, and joining against a common problem leaves much hurt and a lot of growth.Intense finding yourself and family/ psychological drama

Anyone with a sister will dig this
This was a book well worth reading. As a sister among three the relationships ring true. Some of the sisters aren’t very sympathetic and are hard to like at first, but all have depth and grow across the telling of the story. This book stands alone, yet without it resorting to the cheap shot of a cliffhanger, because of the excellent writing and well-developed characters, I’ll likely buy the next book in the series. It gave me food for thought about my own sometimes complicated sibling relationships.

It became easy for me to love all of them
It took me a bit to really get invested in this book. It was very easy for me to connect with Brenna’s feeling of being the ‘odd man out’, so I was quite offended by the treatment she received from her sisters in the beginning. As they all started to crack open their defensive shells and let us get to know them better, it was easier for me to love all of them. I adored seeing the way these sisters ‘grew up’ around each other, ‘cause they started the book being very childish. I’m also very interested in seeing what comes next because while it gives us a ‘happy for now’ ending, it’s also a bit of a cliff-hanger.

Five Sisters, Awesome Family Women's Fiction
This story is about several generations of a family in a small town. The different factions don't get along. The main story involves 5 sisters who are all very different and have all come home for a wedding. The drama is intense and believable. Nothing is easy in this family and the small-town atmosphere does not help at all. The entire book is put together well. It ends with a smooth lead into the next book. I loved the story and I am sure that I will read it again. I received this ARC book for free and this is my honest opinion.

Family love
I recieved this wonderful book from the author for an honest review.I loved this book. I dont know how Holly can make so many twist and turns. I cried and laughed and screamed while reading this book.My mom actually jumped one time I laughed so hard. This family is beautiful. I wish i knew this family in real life. These women raised themselves together and strong. Even tho each one has the same feelings, like loneliness and scared and feelings like they aren't worth anything. I hate that there is always one person to ruin everything cause they so selfish.Thank you Holly for a great series and family you share with us.

Coming home
What a wonderful complicated family story. It was good that cat stayed in the family home and took comfort from her mother's ghost. Although it was serious and sometimes shocking, there were several laugh out loud scenes. You really MUST read this book

Good start
I wasn't sure if like this series and the premise seemed out of my comfort zone of books I like but I am so glad I gave this book a try. The author describes this beautifully disfunctional relationship between sister and family members that at times it hard to keep them straight with the other small town characters. What got me was the depth and intensity of emotion that even though I don't have sisters I could relate to loving and hating someone at the same time. It's a good read for lazy afternoon.

Enjoyable
Just a very good story about sisters and how each ones life turned out and reliving all their past and present feelings. It was a sad, but at times, humorous. Just life of one family

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Made me think of my mother and her sisters and wondered about their lives as sisters.
