Great optic
Mounted this on my sig m18. Looks and works great. Comes with a metal housing that covers and protects the optical housing. Easy to use and set up. Great optic.

Excellent sight
If you're running a sig with the Delta Point Pro footprint, this sight is the one. They have newer ROMEO models, but this 3 MOA is excellent, you can simply bump the brightness up a click ir two if yku want the 6 MOA experience, and I paid around $268, that price is unbeatable. Paying 250 to 300 for a holosun vs sub 300 for a Sig, take the Sig all day. The FDE version, if you can find it, is overpriced everywhere, 400 bucks or more, you're just paying for the color. On top of that, it comes with the metal shroud protector, on the FDE, the protector is also black, so black is really the only way to go if you want the protection.

Perfect RDS for the Sig P320
First things first: Amazon's price on the the R1P is the best I have found and it's in stock. Received it on-time, factory seals intact, undamaged. I belong to a SIG on-line forum and I had reviewed a number of posts regarding R1P installation. I think I ended up spending more time on researching how to install the sight than it actually took to do so. Note: I did need to review how to disassemble the slide to remove the sight plate and rear sight. Installation was straightforward, and while the instructions could be expanded, it's not really necessary with on-line resources. The steel shroud comes with the kit, as does a plastic cover. The plastic cover is great for storage and transport, but would easily be lost if you tried to carry the gun with the cover on. There is an eyelet to attach a cord or lanyard to the cover, but it's not a viable alternative.I read numerous posts that recommended the 6moa dot over the 3moa dot for pistols. I think it's a personal preference as well as an understanding of how you're going to use the sight. At the distances I shoot, the 3moa dot is perfect. I do have to adjust the brightness of the dot for the ambient light conditions, but the dot is clear and easy to acquire in the sight. Overall, great sight at a great price.

Crisp and Reliable Sight for the Range
This Sig red dot sight exceeded my expectations for the price. The dot is crisp and clear, and the brightness settings are easy to adjust depending on lighting conditions. It mounts securely and held zero perfectly after multiple range sessions with no issues. The sight picture is clean and the build quality feels solid, like it can take some real use without falling apart.Battery installation and adjustment were both simple, and the overall design is compact and low profile, which I really like. If you’re looking for a dependable optic without breaking the bank, this is a great choice. Definitely worth it for target shooting or as a backup sight.

Sig Romeo 1 Pro. Great red dot.
Pros:1. The Sig Romeo 1 Pro fits perfectly on a Sig P226 slide with tight tolerances.2. I have about 750 rounds using the red dot, and it seems to be holding zero well.3. Its a good US Made/Assembled red dot for the price.4. Battery is accessible / easily changed without removing the red dot from the slide.5. Has a nice steel shroud you can choose to install or not. The red dot seems substantial even without the shroud installed.Cons:1. The biggest thing I dislike about the red dot is the adjustment turrets for sighting in the red dot don't click per each increment like most other red dot sights do.2. I wish the optional shroud had some sort of built in indexing so that when you install it, it gets spaced evenly around the red dot. I had to re-do the tightening of the crews to adjust the spacing of the shroud. I suppose you could just leave it so it was spaced unevenly, but it looks better when you space it right.

Works perfectly on my sig 229
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased this sight for the Sig P229, perfect fit. Go with this low height sight. If the red dot fails you can fall back on the iron sights providing you have suppressor height iron sights.

Great Optic
Great optic. Installed easily on my Sig 320 X Carry. No special mounting plates were needed. Good clarity in the optic and easy to get zeroed.
