Orivet Geno Pet Plus 5.0 Dog DNA Breed Identification & Health Test

My only complaint is that I had thought it would go more in depth about breed breakdown, I've got a dog that it's pretty obvious what he is but I was curious about confirming his age, and keeping track of potential health hazards, but I was hoping for a more specific break down of traits his parents and him might be carrying. However it's a great test and if I didn't already have a good idea about most of it it would have been more helpful, but it was nice just to have some confirmation about him since he is from a shelter.

We bought this product back on may 1st. We sent our collection in right away. After a month of no word we followed up and they said they have a “room full of samples, it’s probably in there” then a couple of days later we got a notice saying it was being processed. 2 weeks after that no word, we reached out and got a notice that our collection failed. WE didn’t follow the instructions. They sent us a second collection kit. We followed the instructions and went through the same process again. The first time we asked for a refund we were told we had to fill out an admin form the the corporate office to approve. The second I just shot an email with all of the details and they issued a refund right away. Now it’s august and we have no results for our dog. O total waste of time and money.

You have to have lots of patience but it’s worth it.

I cannot stress enough that you should not purchase this item. I followed all the directions, mailed the kit and when I went to register it they asked for information that did not exist on the test. For example, they ask for a 6 digit barcode on the testing envelope, they only give you 5. Trying to reach someone via phhone is ridiculous.Just DON'T DO IT.

Super disappointed, tested the dog and sent it in and never received results several months later. They claim they never received the swabs and several weeks ago said they were sending out a new swab kit and we never received it. I am wondering if this is even legit.

Took 2 weeks for it to delivery & then 3 1/2 weeks later they emailed me saying the test results messed up and needed more sample. Do not recommend. Takes way to long just for it to mess up & have to restart

The results were interesting but incomplete. Merchant never acknowledged my complaint. Results took longer than estimated. I’d monitor this merchant for possible scamming activities

Like other reviews, never received results and have no way of contacting company. Total scam.
