The best sealant for automotive use
This stuff is excellent quality, seals better than any other product I have used, I very good for attaching body panels and spoilers etc to cars, easy to use and does exactly what it's made for.

strong sticky and long lasting
This is advertised as a strong adhesive sealant and that's exactly what it is. I first used this for work as an adhesive to stick woven polyethylene slabs to an outer polypropylene shell. Both plastics had to be surface activated but after that the sikaflex stuck them so tight they couldn't be pulled apart. I've since used it to stick door seals to my Land Rover and to seal a leak in the roof. This is fantastic stuff, I've now always got some for those jobs where I don't trust ordinary sealant. The only downside is that it doesn't last very long (goes off in the tube) once opened compared to ordinary bathroom silicone. A note of warning- don't use this if you anticipate wanting to undo the thing quite soon.

Amazing stuff for our campervan conversion
We have used so much of this in our self built campervan build. I recommend warming it up in warm water to make it a little easier to pump out. Also recommend a heavy duty caulk gun. It all makes the job a little easier and tidier. We have no problems with leakage from the container. The product itself is incredible. We have used many of the sikaflex products applying side pods, skylight, fan, windows. Brilliant stuff. It’s worth the money.

Good stuff but past it's Best Before date
Last used Sikaflex in my boy racer days 40 years ago and am pleased to say it seems as good (ie sticky) today for sticking a spoiler to my car.BUT the tube was supplied 6 months past it's best before date! I had no choice but to use it as I only had a small window to fit the part and I know "Best Before" isnt the same as "Use By" but even so you wonder how fresh it will be. Well I guess we'll see if the spoiler comes off!
