Well that's a good question. It depends on many factors. The weight of the bolts you are using is probably the main factor. I used the bolts that came with the bow and it's very accurate and effective at 30 to 40 yards depending on wind. Haven't tried heavier bolts with heavier grain heads. I hope this helps.
