I am so happy that my favorite fish is healthy again. After this medicine, she started swimming and eating again. Medicine is safety and effectiveness. Color is white, She had dropsy.

Betta was refusing to eat and I was nervous she would die on me. On the first treatment the next day she tried nibbling on her worms but still wouldn’t eat so I tried bug bites and she would just ignore them. By the second treatment a couple hours after I tried again with a small piece of bug bites and she started eating. By the third treatment she started eating all of her food!!! I didn’t do water changes in between. Only did water change after the third treatment 2 days after (8 days in total with the treatment) I did do top offs when I needed to though

Not an expert but I think that this worked great. We tried many different items to help our koi who had a cotton fungal disease and then developed septicemia; all down the fishes side was white fungus, then soon after bright red with blood. We think she had an injury. We were super close to giving up hope. We used malachite green, primafix, melafix, Erythromycin, then Kanaplex was finally the thing which showed easily the most progress quickly. The skin/scales healed, a slime coat developed, redness reduced by half in one week. Definitely use a separate tank/tub with aeration as this stuff should only be used on the sick fish as needed. Be sure to measure the amounts needed accurately. We read that the mostly gram positive bacteria that Erythromycin attacks was not the best solution, so tried this mostly gram negative antibiotic kanamycin sulfate, which is supposedly easier for the fish to get benefits from as the medicine did not need to be swallowed using food etc. just popped it in the water. I think this saved our poor fishy. We will keep an eye on it but its looking very positive so far. I changed the water by 1/3rd every other day as the phosphate levels were getting high, so testing the water was important. Please don't give up on the little fishies :-) Hope this helps.

The powder is solid so I’m going to have to break it up. I will update when I start dosing on my sick betta fish
