ALLEX Japanese Thread Snips with Spring Long

Love this Japanese style shear for cutting threads. Sturdy and haven’t rust since I got it for almost two weeks now. Easy use as well the grip is nice and fit in my hands. I’d say the value is worth it if you’re thinking of buying this.

I thought I was getting an all metal product. Nope, only the blades are metal. Very sharp though! Work well but don't stick to the magnet where/how I need them to. Probably won't buy again.

The good: Very sharp and exactly what I was looking for. The price is very reasonable. Over all they are fantastic.If you are doing heavy jobs like sewing awnings, boat sales/canvas, upholstery, etc. Or trimming plants. These are perfect.If you are doing lighter jobs you are better off with the smaller size.The bad:They have machining marks and sharp edges. I would hit the outside edges with some sand paper to smooth them out.The handle is glass fiber reinforce injection molded plastic. This isn't bad but the spring action seems to come from this and not an internal metal spring. I think they will hold up well but not as good as if they had an internal metal spring / handle.

Sharp, well made, easy to use for the purpose of cutting thread and thin string easily and quickly. Better than a standard scissors for the tasks it was designed for. No complaints & I'd buy it again.

Love these! I have very arthritic hand and I can use these without pain. The blades are very sharp and they are thin so allows me to snip threads very close. I got a set of Fiskars also, and they are so stiff I cannot use them, plus blade too thick. I recommend these.

I like these scissors as something different from my normal embroidery scissors. Only wish it had some kind of case to store them in but otherwise they are great.
