Sheesh! After trying multiple other head-units (Android, Carplay, Android Auto etc.) I went back to my original "Mission Statement" - KEEP IT SIMPLE! This JVC does exactly what I wanted it to do and is very customizable on top of that! Sounds and features and even the phone works great through the Mic.Very impressed with this. Don't spend lots of $$$ on a high-end unit. (Well you can... but...)This JVC is very easy to use. - Especially in this day and age of touch-screen madness. I'm very happy with my choice. Simple to install and the directions are very good. Happy that some company still makes a car stereo that "Keeps things simple" and sounds great. I'm glad I came back to this one as it was my first choice to begin with! Great Stereo.UPDATE: One slight negative that appears during the day - The center display (Time, stations, Channel and info.) gets washed-out by the sunlight. Very hard to see and the settings are at "Maximum Brightness".At night it's great... Very visible. Daylight is very difficult to see.

Looks great
Mostly got this because it looks good, but it also works great. I don’t play around with the settings too much, but the bass adjusts great. I wish it came with a frame (not quite sure what you call it) so it would look more flush in my 2000 4Runner. I probably would have to contact a car stereo website to find the right one.

So far seems ok ,loud enough
The futures are great,few things I didn't like, it doesn't come with installation brackets only few screws,the face has an angle to it the bottom of it sticks out like 3/8 inch comparing to the top,it the didn't fill the opening in my 2010 nissan titan 1/2 "too small

Unbeatable value
I won a 100 gift card at work about 6-7 years ago,used it for this and just decided to give my review on this, as I was scrolling through old purchases. I put this in my Genesis coupe and it has been very good for a long time. Not the best, but you cannot beat it for the price. Kenwood owns JVC, and they've always made great decks.

I am a HUGE fan of JVC car stereos, and this one has been great. Easy to install and a simple layout makes it easy to use!

Great sound
This stereo is badass. It made my stock stereo sound ten times better then it did. I like all the different settings it has too.

Would NOT buy again.
Not my favorite, but it's working after some tweaking with the grounding wire. My next one will have a backup camera. Price was good, but I'll spend more next time. Throws random error code from time to time. Turning it off and on usually fixes it. I'll run it until it fails, then upgrade. Phone mic works great.
