Works great for at least 8 months.
This flea collar works great for my medium sized dog, Ginger. I was having some flea problems with Ginger and was giving here a flea bath once a week where fleas would fall off of her in bunches. The shampoo I used said it killed eggs and protected dogs up to 10 days. But within a week she had fleas again. I tried flea treatments, that oil you apply to the back of the neck, with marginal success. And I didn’t want to keep going to the vet every month to get a flea pill. So, I researched some collars and determined this collar was the least toxic to Ginger and thought I’d give it a try. And it worked. It worked great! No fleas after a few days. It has been 8 month and still flea free. The collar is rated up to 8 months. I have a second one ready for the day I spot a flea on Ginger.

Phenomenal product, buy it now!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my second year buying this product for my dog. If you are on the fence and not sure if you should buy this product and spend the money I have to tell you buy it definitely buy it. It is amazing if there ends up being a tick on my dog from a walk in the woods it just falls off and dies. I mean it’s incredible. We haven’t had any real tick problems at all And no flea problems at all and my dog goes walking through deep woods heavy grass all of it and it’s just been a phenomenal product. I know it seems a little pricey but it is so so worth the money. I can’t recommend this enough.

My honest thoughts, great purchase
f you’re tired of remembering monthly flea treatments or dealing with messy spot-ons, the Seresto flea collar might be your new best friend (besides your actual pet, of course).I!ve used them for my dogs (30lb, 50lb, & 160 lb) and here’s the deal: it actually works. It claims to protect against fleas and ticks for up to 8 months, and surprisingly, it kind of delivers. Within a couple days, I noticed way fewer fleas, and ticks? Haven’t seen one since. What I like:• Super low-maintenance – You put it on and forget about it (well, mostly).• No gross smell or sticky stuff – It’s not greasy, and you won’t smell chemicals every time your pet walks by.• Water-resistant – Bath time or a quick swim doesn’t kill the magic (though too many baths might shorten its life a bit).• Long-term win – It’s a bit pricey upfront, but if you break it down over 8 months, it’s cheaper than monthly treatments.A few things to watch out for:• Skin sensitivity – Some pets might react to it. Mine have been completely fine.• Not a bug shield – It doesn’t repel fleas and ticks, it just kills them once they make contact.• Fake products online – Definitely buy from a trusted store or your vet. There are some sketchy knockoffs floating around that don’t work (or worse).Bottom line:If your pet tolerates wearing it, the Seresto collar is a total game-changer. It saves you time, mess, and gives your pet long-lasting protection. Just keep an eye on them for the first couple days after putting it on, and you’re good to go.

It does actually work!
This is honestly the only product that works for us anymore. We have a white German shepherd mix and moved into a wooded area that was completely infested. We found flea comes in the bathroom closet. That should've been the first sign. Our poor dog has been covered and we have tried so many different treatments. We used Frontline for many years on all of our pets. It worked really well up until about five years ago, we noticed it stopped being effective. Apparently the fleas have grown immune to the active ingredient. I never tried any flea collars, so imagine my surprise when we bought our first Seresto and the fleas disappeared!!It's also worth saying that your environment needs to be treated as well or your pets will constantly be reinfected by those little jumping knuckleheads. We did notice around month 6, they started returning. But even without a full eight months, it's still absolutely worth it!! We have a new kitten who also needs one. I'm really hoping it will hold up as well as it does on our doggo. He never had any reactions, either. Highly recommend!

Seems Effective
This product was recommended to me by someone at my vet's office and I have to say my distrust of flea collars ran deep before this. Now I'm glad I listened and bought a couple for my dogs. They seem comfortable wearing them, there isn't any real smell and they seem lightweight enough even though they were HUGE. We have two smaller dogs, but they weighed more than was recommend for the small size. We would have loved to order a medium size, but they seem to only make a small and large. The large could have made two collars for my dogs. Seriously. Huge. But they seem to work. We're right in the midde of flea and tick season and neither dog has had a pest on them to date. I'm still skeptical, but I'll be fine if I'm shown wrong this summer.

Amazing product if you live in an area with a tick problem
We live in SW New Hampshire where the tick population is very large. Our dog is Boykin Spaniel with thick dark brown curly hair. This is the second year that we have Seresto collar and the difference is amazing. We almost never find ticks on our dog but find many dead ticks on the floor. Highly recommend.

Flea protection that works.
My pups were infested with fleas this spring. We tried different topical treatments like Frontline and K9 Advantage. None worked. I did not want to feed them poison so I purchased these twin-pack Soresto flea collars. They are supposed to work for 8 months. It's been a couple months and the flea issue is under control. A bit pricey but worth the money.

Works well for ticks and fleas
This product has worked well so far, neither dog have had fleas or ticks both of which other animals in the household have had after getting out. The size for a large is excellent. We have a rapidly growing Cane Corso puppy and this collar is expandable if you leave the excess and we have been able to adjust it frequently. It was easy to put on and it looks okay. I am not a fan of the “floury” looking pattern it has, it appears to have been coated unevenly in powder.
