Our go to Milk Alternative as a Allergy Family, smooth, non curdling and a great substitute to milk
Due to my child having a life threatening allergy to milk/dairy, we buy this Oat Milk all of the time from Amazon. We have found it cheaper to buy in bulk from Amazon than anywhere else and you can save more money by buying this via Subscribe and Save. It has seriously saved us a fortune over the years. As my childs allergy is so serious, even trace amounts of milk can be dangerous, we are completely a milk/dairy free house so all of us drink this milk. This is the Barrista milk which I highly recommend. It does not curdle and if you shake it well it's lovely and bubbly. Without shaking the first bit can taste quite watery. It's consistency is lovely, my youngest will drink a full cup of this each day and she loves it, despite normally being very particular about food and drink. The orders we have usually have a 9-12 month shelf life, though once or twice we've had some of the old design packs with only 3 months left on it which is tricky when we buy 6-8 packs of 6 cartons at a time.Make sure once opened you do leave it in the fridge as it can start to smell like normal milk does. This is our go to oat milk and allergy wise we've had no issues with it at all.We use this milk as a diary substitute in all of our cooking, including pancakes and cakes and it tastes delicious.Added bonus is it's Plant based and kind to our planet

MOMA Barista Oat Drink
This is definitely one of the best oat milks I've tasted - I'd highly recommend it. It tastes deliciously creamy in coffee, it's refreshing on it's own, and I was pleasantly surprised that it actually works in tea too. It frothes perfectly with a hand held frother or a machine.A great buy, especially when it's on offer on Amazon!

Price vs Taste and Consistency
Moma Oat Barista vs Oatly Oat BaristaI make a cappuccino every morning using a basic espresso machine with steam wand. I use a metal jug with thermometer.I used to use skimmed milk before trying plant based alternatives. The first alternative I tried was Oatly. I found it very creamy compared to skimmed milk but it frothed well and had no overpowering flavour. I quickly got used to it and can't imagine going back to cows milk.Oatly was out of stock for my subscription delivery so I tried Moma as an alternative. It was cheaper than Oatly so worth a try.My first impression of Moma was that it's a lot thinner than Oatly - it's more like skimmed milk.It also seemed to have a predominant artificial taste which was noticeable over the espresso. It does froth well and I've not had an issue with it splitting.I always switch off the steam wand when the liquid reaches 60°C. Others have mentioned that the Moma oat milk splits but maybe they are either overheating it or adding it to drinks made with boiling water. If this was the first oat barista milk I'd tried I'd probably be fine with it but ultimately I'll be sticking with Oatly, it's a bit more expensive but I prefer the consistency and flavour.

Oat Milk Done Right!
I’ve tried a fair few oat milks over the years, but MOMA really stands out. It’s smooth, creamy, and doesn’t split in coffee — which is a dealbreaker for me. The taste is subtle and oaty without being overpowering, and it works just as well in tea, cereal, smoothies, or just on its own.Bonus points for being UK-made and enriched with vitamins like B12 and D. It’s also barista-friendly, so if you’re into frothy coffees, it holds up beautifully. If you’re looking to make the switch from dairy (or just want a more consistent, great-tasting plant milk), MOMA’s oat milk is genuinely a top-tier choice. No weird aftertaste, no watery texture — just proper creamy goodness.
