wonderful for anyone who loves Pokemon or needs to know more to keep up with granchildren

For a pokemon fan it's OK but if you were looking for the definitive guide this is not it. Great for the kids to see all pokemon available right now. Not so good for pokemon go though

I purchased this 303 page hardback book for a young friend of the family who has recently begun to collect Pokemon cards, and he is highly delighted with it! Content is divided into 9 sections beginning with the World Of Pokemon timeline (1998 – 2020) but for some strange reason on the contents page there do not seem to be any page numbers indicating where each chapter begins. Therefore readers need to browse through the book to find the article they wish to read. Another minor problem is that, this being a hardback edition, it is rather heavy for young children, in particular, to hold for any length of time. Yet the information held within the covers is sure to prove invaluable to Pokemon fans. There are details on virtually everything they would wish to know, from various Human characters like Cynthia and Professor Juniper to the numerous regions and the Pokemon themselves. Indeed, each Pokemon is also illustrated and in alphabetical order with details for height, weight and type. There are loads of facts and figures to explore and this edition has been updated and expanded to include newer entries, too. Admittedly I know very little about the Pokemon Universe but believe this book will prove indispensable for those which do!

Purchased for my 6 years old birthday. He has recently got really into Pokemon and was donated a lot of cards from a family friend. He had loved looking up the cards and reading about them. Great buy for him.

Means nothing to me but is my 5 year old's dream come true. Everything you could want, need or desire to know about the products of the minds of some frankly questionable individuals. With lovely pictures of course.

El libro está cuidado al más mínimo detalle. Las ilustraciones, la maquetación, los colores... Todo. Un regalo formidable para los seguidores de la saga. Sean niños y no tan niños como coleccionable. Por buscarle una mínima pega, el contenido de Galar se limita a dos tristes páginas; pero el resto de regiones están cubiertas con un detalle asombroso. Muy recomendable.

I am very impressed with this encyclopedia. It is printed on heavy, coated stock. Each page is kind of like the shiny cover of a magazine. Really nice. The pages are colorful. The artwork is beautiful. The formatting of information reflects the amount of thought that has gone into the production of this book. And even grandmothers like me can now understand what the Pokemon world is all about. It's well worth the money.
