The mounting clips will only fit on in the correct orientation. If they don't you have probably put them on sideways. This would NOT work with an AM3 motherboard so make sure that you have an AM4 motherboard and CPU.I bought this as I had thrown away the mounting clips for a B350M motherboard. This item works fine for mounting a Wraith Prism cooler for this motherboard.

Lost my original one so perfect replacement.

Works exactly as intended. I had misplaced the two plastic pieces for the cooler mount and the ones with this bracket work perfectly.

The backing plate supplied is plastic, as opposed to pressed metal, and is thicker than the original part. The original one was attached to the back of the MB, so I used that with the clips from the kit.The included anchoring clips have appear to work perfectly, for the upgraded Cooler I installed.

Worked on my mobo to fit 3600.

First thing that this "backplate" does wrong is the material, it absolutely terrible and styled to look good as a slick carbon black look until you feel the material. Secondly the screw holes don't even fit in the motherboards that they list in the title. It was so badly made that I had to configure a new method to try to use it which worked but required extra parts which I had left over that weren't included because I couldn't be asked to hassle over 6 quid. I would give it a sold 0 stars if I could because of the lack of quality in this product and thought this dosen't work with the ryzen stock wraith cooler and I suppose the stealth either however have seen it work with the spire. Just for anyone else who's having the same issues you could do what I have done if you have the parts and put a rubber divider also in the pictures to separate the "backplate" from the screw to make sure it's a good firm fit and put a gold motherboard screw on the top and then screw it in, took me 2 hours to get it all working and would want a refund for the labour I had to do keep on changing the thermal paste out and in to see if different methods worked. This item is a solid 0 from me and would recommend to no-one.

Works just fine with the stock cooler (Wraith Stealth). I had to use two hands to install it - one to hold the backplate in place and another to drive the screws on the CPU cooler but it wasn't difficult. It looks and feels cheaper than the OEM bracket but that doesn't bother me. Just be sure you can access the back of the motherboard to hold the bracket in place while you install the cooler, unless you are using the included "traditional" AMD tabs which hold it in place (I didn't use them so can't comment on how well they work)

The Product worked like a charm. I have seen a few reviews saying that the screws don't go all the way in, that the dimensions are wrong, that it is not secure. All I have to say is that everything worked like a charm. I have the Gigabyte Aorus X370 Gaming 7, and it worked as the original mounting CPU bracket. The only difference is that this one is plastic. Fear not, the plastic material it's very strong and I was able to tight it really hard, and it did not bend or brake.

Useful if you really need it but be careful as it's not designed for your motherboard specifically it may press down on some of the motherboard components.

This AM4 cpu base bracket works as intended. It keeps your AM4 or AM3 cpu cooler intact like the original bracket that came with your motherboard.The only difference is that this bracket is made of plastic as some AM4 motherboards came with a solid metal bracket. But overall it does it's job, to keep the cpu cooler in place.I bought this item back in 2018 and it still holds up my cooler.
