How many mm long is the bit head? From back of the bit to the to the tip? I need super low clearance....?

For the screwdriver set the distance from the back of the black handle to the tip of the bit is 10mm. You could potential file a bit down on either side if you needed half a mm less. There is also the bend in the handle that might affect spaces it can be put into, but again you could potentially modify by clamping this and straightening it out with a bit of effort. Hope that helps! Advice all the way from NZ ;)

What is the claimed accuracy?

There is no claim of accuracy included with this Torque Screwdriver. Also, no calibration certificate. So YMMV- but probably don't count on it to be more than 10% accurate in the top 80% of the range, and probably worse than that in the bottom 20% of the range. For my use, it's just making sure the screws are torqued in the ballpark of accurate.

does this work better on tightening screws than a manual screwdriver?

I mainly use it to install receptacles and light switches, etc. along with the cover plates. I am very satisfied using it in this type of application. It is better than a screwdriver. However if you are using it in a application or more torque is required a screwdriver would do better.

Manufactured in Taiwan. I have been to Taipei for manufacturing and they seem to be head and shoulders above China for consistent quality for sure but there's a first time for everything, I have not had a problem with Taiwan.
