Southpole Boys' Active Basic Fleece Jogger Pants

My son is VERY slim, if your kid is too you'll need to be careful ab size, I'll take the waist in a bit. Length seemed slightly longer but within normal for most pants.Made well, thick, with a soft quality material, I love them, worth every cent but do be aware of the size you pick bc they ran large for me.

These pants would have been perfect for Winter. These are thick and seems to be well made jogger pants, however, does not fit my boys who are on slender side as the string is very short and in adjustable. The very short strings are sewn on almost at the place where they meet. If the strings were adjustable, I would have purchased multiples. But unfortunately, I cannot fit my boys into these pants. I had purchased one pair just recently and really liked it, that I ended up buying more hoping I would be able to adjust the hip string using cord locks but it was very difficult to even try to put one string through using decent sized hole cord.They really need to make the strings that are adjustable or little thinner. I would be returning the two pairs I just purchased. Unfortunately, I cannot return the other pair as I have already washed it.

I have a very slim boy who needs a draw string that works, I bought these thinking it was functional, but it is not. I’ll never understand the point of fake stationary draw strings, lol. But yea, if you have a little waisted boy like me, these may not work for you.

I ordered two pairs of these, but in two different colors. When I opened the package initially and took a look at the pants I knew these were cut small. When I unfolded the first pair of pants, I tugged on the waist band area where a generic draw string was located and the string immediately pulled into the its hole!! I had to use tweezers to pull out the draw string!! When I checked the tag to confirm the pants were definitely a youth medium which is equivalent to a size 8 youth, the tag said- Medium, but had a S, which I’m assuming stands for size small. Also, I think the pants might be a knock off of the Southpole brand or maybe even defective. None the less, they look & feel like they are comfortable. They seem warm as well. The only bad things are they seem like they’re cut a bit small, maybe even a size smaller than the tag indicates and the fact that the draw string pulled into the hole on one side made me a bit frustrated. I’m still going to try the pants on my 8yo w/the hopes that they fit him comfortably.

4 stars for the sizing confusion - Everything is great about the quality and fabric. My only qualm is the sizing. I made sure to measure my son (10 yrs) and pick medium but for some reason it didn't work out that way. I ended up with little kid sizing for a few pants that I ordered. Double check! I hope for the next buyer it will say little or big kid. To be honest i did not see that on the header prior to buying but it was there when i checked the order after it was delivered.I am not going to return them because my youngest will eventually fit in them.
