This home theater configuration I s currently unavailable on Amazon but wondering how much you paid for it when you got it?

I have denon 7 channel, I paid 750 for it. But thier are cheaper 5 to 7 channel recievers out there.

The subwoofer that i received is "wireless" - not in the description. can i exchange for a wired unit?

It says in the description it's a 400 watt powered subwoofer

Need to hard wire rear speakers?

Yes, you will need to hardwire the rear bookshelf speakers they are not wireless speakers. The only wireless option is the subwoofer although you can use left/right line inputs or LFE input.
