Outdoor Dusk to Dawn Wall Lights with Photocell Modern Farmhouse Porch Light Waterproof Exterior Wall Lantern Black with Seed Glass, Sensor Outside lamp for House Garage, Front Door Light, 14.2" H

I purchased these at Christmas time and didn't get around to putting them up until Now due to winter. Big mistake as I would have returned them. I almost gave up but didn’t want to lose $250 and have to buy new ones. The screws that go in the j box and hold the mounting plate did not fit they were to loose. Used some wood screws to secure. Got it wired and went to put on the thumb screw cap and the mounting screws were way to long. So then when twisting off the thumb cap the screw was just spinning since it was not tight enough with the bolt. But if it so tight then you can’t adjust it to level it. They also were bigger than the standard size and would not screw into the mounting screw plate like some do. Tried to cut them down to one inch and they were to fat to fit in my wire cutter holes. Found some around the house I tried and they were too short. Finally went to lowes and got 1 inch and they worked great. Got the first 2 lights up and went to put up the third light and the ground wire broke off of the light fixture. I have never had this much trouble installing lights. Decided to crimp the ground wire back on hoping it holds. The lights are up and look nice. Then my husband tells me they are on as he is leaving at 6:00pm in full sun. I didn’t even want the dawn to dusk feature but am stuck now. Save yourself the hassle any buy something else.

These lights are so much nicer in person. The size is perfect and updated the exterior of my home.

I really like the modern design of the light and being a one piece unit, the installation was easy. It looks great and I'm very happy with it. However, I rated 4 out of 5 stars because I wasn't aware that the bottom glass portion just rests on the securing lower bar. The glass doesn't push up into anything securely to stay put in general or when you're wanting or needing to change the bulb. So be very careful when undoing the screws that secure the lower bar. Also, that lower bar is metal so as I mentioned the glass just sits on it bare. I decided to use two velcro pieces (black obviously) and put them on both sides of the arm bracket where the glass edge rests. It works and I'm happy with that and it isn't noticeable. But overall I'm very satisfied with this light fixture.

Easy to install, bright led light and works as intended

Not having to do anything with the product itself - you should check the way your existing lamp/fixture was installed before you throw the box and plastic bags away. Luckily I had a couple of screws in my toolbox to allow me to adapt the new bracket to the existing electrical box. I had two slightly different conditions. Make sure you check the way the new bracket is going onto the box. No instructions come with it. I didn't need it because I know what I'm doing. It's really easy even if you haven't done it before unless you don't have the tools (electrician's wire cutter/crimper, phillips screw driver & possibly terminal lugs to splice the wires together but you should be able to use the existing ones). The lamp uses either 40W or 60W bulb. Overall very nice stylish lamp.

I ordered 2 of these. Honestly they were a little difficult to mount flush against the wall. I had to go to Home Depot and get a set of nuts that would fit on the mounting screw so I could adjust the length the screw was from wall.Why 5 stars? One arrived and the glass was broken. I contacted the seller directly letting them know that the glass was broken and I had already mounted the light. They sent it out right away.This was definitely worth the trouble of mounting.Thank you again for your help!

We initially liked the design of this outdoor fixture and I still do like the overall design with a couple of exceptions.The glass globe fits extremely loose it will take some modification in the receiving top as well as a couple of bumpers on the bottom hold bar.Also someone specifically asked if this had a Dusk to Dawn feature, to which the manufacturer replied no, when point of fact is that it does as you will notice in the attached photo.Right now it shows wrapped in tape I'll have to figure out another way to cover that since I use Hue Automations to control most lights.

The media could not be loaded.  The led bulb they sent is way better then the one in the pictures, I am actually torn on wether or not I want to swap it out for my crazy expensive hue lights.I am happy to see it does work with standard bulbs.It very much helps to contemporize our 1800s red brickI'd say give it a go if you are torn on what you want.(Note: if it looks a little off I haven't brought it tight to the mounting plate in the fixtures. I just wanted to see how it looked)

After 5 summer months the finish is all tarnished, hardware is rusted out and dusk to dawn sensor stopped working, this is an absolute garbage of a light... should of known after seeing the glass bit was way smaller than the metal socket and just staying loose in it and sitting on the metal bar which the wind can move the glass within the socket, I should of returned this once I opened the box...

Light sensor doesn’t work well at all, just turns the light off if I have my cell phone light shining on it directly. But can’t detect when it’s day or night, just stays on all day otherwise. Now it’s basically just a regular light fixture for us.

Used it for the few months. It has 3 different settings, all engaged by switching it off then on. The low wattage is a definite bonus as I leave it on all night.

Use a regular led light bulb. The one it comes with is useless
