Other than removing the tailgate bolts - which requires a larger wrench than typical. An extra $16 for the wrench. Other than that, this item is very easy. Fits great. Looks great and is rock solid. Very happy w/ the simplicity and look.

I bought 2 other types and this is the one I used. It can not be better than this. The way it bolts on is away from my 35" spare tire and My 3ft antenna sticks up 1ft over the roof

I use this for my Jeep whip and it makes it stand out for sure.

I am a ham radio operator, and I've been using my handheld mobile to communicate while in my jeep. I decided to get one of these, and finally put my Yeasu mobile rig (which I was using as a base station) in my new Jeep. I quickly discovered that the hole for the antenna connector in the bracket was not big enough to fit the 232 connector, (which is used most commonly in CB and ham radio applications.) I had to go to Home Depot to get a drill bit big enough, but I drilled it out, and fit the antenna connector perfectly, and it works wonderfully! I'm not saying this is a bad bracket, I actually think it's excellent! It looks great, it fits with the look of the jeep, and once it's drilled out, it holds the antenna perfectly! In fact, I am extremely happy with this bracket! I just don't think that people you should have to drill out a hole in something they bought for a specific purpose.

Perfect for my JLU. Looks awesome. Great quality. Fast and easy install. Paired with a Firestik heavy duty stud mount, 18ft coax, 4 ft Firestik, and a Uniden Pro 520xl radio. Amazing all around. Was able to get my SWR dialed in at 1.1 and 1.0. This was the perfect bracket to bring it all together. Provides a solid ground.

Super easy to Install . The finish on the bracket looks great holds my 4ft firestick perfectly. Overall a great product that does what you need it to do.

I’ve always been impressed with the quality of Terraflex products and although this is just an antenna mount, it’s built tough!
