5 Color Pack Acetate Transparent Sheets

I am an educational psychologist working with college-aged students. I got these to try for a student who complained of extreme eye fatigue and difficulty concentrating. We tried using the various colored sheets as an overlay on the page to reduce eye strain. The student states that he has been using them and that it has helped and that he can spend more time reading than without them. It'll take a while to see if it leads in improved grades, but if he's happy with them then the sheets deserve a positive review.

Have you heard of Reading by the Colors? the Irlens Method? No need to purchase expensive "Color Visors", this is it. I looked for cheaper alternatives and here it is.Never heard of Irlen's method? In simple terms, Irlen's method is a solution to a reading disability (or learning disablity such as dyselxia and adhd) called SSS and learning/reading can be improved when one changes the color of the page. Those suffering from SSS can best be suited to read with color visors ( as opposed to black on white which creates a sort of blending/bleeding of the letters on the page for sufferers), since those with SSS have a sensitivity to light, colored pages creates less of a strain on the eyes. In addition, read with natural lighting versus fluorescent lighting, reduce the usage of overhead projectors, or use a hat when required to work under flourescent lighting. These went to a friend who suffers from dyslexia, they were a great aid in helping her to keep lines and words straight as she read. Perfect tool to help make her life a little easier! Great product

I cut the red sheet up a little to make a red light filter for a spot light.. I use it for added light at night for hog hunting.. great product..

I used these in a project and I loved how vibrant and easy they are. I punched out shapes and they worked perfectly.

I used these transparencies for an art project. I was a little worried when I ordered them because the description did not specify a size, and the sheets did not look very transparent in the photo. When they arrived, the 8 1/2 x 11 size was just what I needed, and the reason they don't look transparent in the photo is because they have a sheet of white paper behind them. The colors were perfect and they worked like a charm.

This product was purchased to replace the torn and faded colored paper on a 50 year old color wheel. The original paper was so faded that no colors showed up on the aluminum tree. I just googled for colored acetate paper and found these. This variety package was exactly what I ordered. Now the color wheel will continue to turn so that my childhood memories will be relived every Christmas.
