Easy setup and quick speeds! Does its job perfectly!
What can I say? Does exactly what it says!I took it out of the box, plugged it into a USB port, it was instantly recognised, entered my WiFi password into Windows and done! Literally a 2 minute setup. My Three 5G Router is in the other room yet this connects to it easily and gives me similar speeds to what I get on my phone stood right next to the router. My pings in games is good too!The price is great, less than £20, solves the problem its made for, great build quality, not overly big so it fits in the back of the PC just fine without standing out...Would defo recommend, beats my old WiFi adapter I've had for years easily.

Absolutely Brilliant.
Brilliant value for money and the signal is excellent.Needed to move my PC upstairs while work is being done, and lost access to my ethernet connection. With the PC upstairs and the router in my front room, the WIFI signal is great.Even better, you can override the connection speed between 2.5 and 5 ghz in the driver control panel, for routers that decide what protocol to use.And even forcing the TP Link to 5ghz, my link speed is amazing. So, well done TP Link your product is fantastic.Highly recommended. No surprise this product is number 1 in the top ten list of USB WIFI adapters as I found out later.

Why I Chose the AC1300 Dongle Over Other Wi-Fi Adapters
If you are looking for a way to improve your Wi-Fi connection on your PC or laptop, you might want to consider the TP-Link AC1300 Wi-Fi Dongle. This is a dual-band Wi-Fi adapter that supports the latest 802.11ac standard and can deliver up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. It also has a 5 dBi high-gain antenna that can improve your wireless network's signal strength and range. The installation of the dongle is very easy and straightforward. You just need to plug it into a USB 3.0 port on your computer and install the driver from the included CD or download it from the TP-Link website. The dongle is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, and 7 operating systems. It also comes with a USB extension cable that allows you to place the dongle in a more optimal position for better reception. The performance of the dongle is impressive and consistent. I tested it on my laptop which has a built-in Wi-Fi card and compared the results using Speedtest.net. The dongle was able to achieve higher download and upload speeds than the built-in card on both bands. The latency was also lower with the dongle. The signal strength was also better with the dongle, especially on the 5 GHz band, where I could connect to my router from farther away without any dropouts or interruptions. The dongle also supports MU-MIMO technology, which means it can communicate with multiple devices simultaneously and reduce congestion and latency on your network. It also supports WPA/WPA2 encryption and a WPS button for easy and secure connection. Some of the pros and cons of the dongle are:-----Pros:-----1- Fast and reliable Wi-Fi speeds on both bands2- High-gain antenna that improves signal strength and range3- Easy installation and compatibility with Windows OS4- USB extension cable included5- MU-MIMO technology supported6- WPA/WPA2 encryption and WPS button supported-----Cons:-----1- The dongle is quite large and bulky, which might block other USB ports or interfere with other devices2- The driver might need to be updated manually from time to time3- The dongle might get hot after prolonged use-----------------------------------Some of the reasons to buy or avoid the dongle are:-----Buy:------ If you want to upgrade your Wi-Fi connection on your PC or laptop to the latest standard and enjoy faster and more stable speeds- If you have a weak or unstable Wi-Fi signal in your area and need a high-gain antenna to boost it- If you have multiple devices on your network and want to reduce congestion and latency with MU-MIMO technologyAvoid:- If you have limited USB ports or space on your computer and do not want a large and bulky device sticking out- If you do not want to deal with driver updates or potential compatibility issues with future Windows updates- If you are concerned about the heat generated by the dongle after long hours of use------------------------Conclusion:----The TP-Link Dongle is an excellent device for anybody looking to boost their Wi-Fi connection on a PC or laptop. It offers fast and consistent speeds on both bands, a high-gain antenna that improves signal strength and range, easy setup and compatibility with Windows OS, MU-MIMO technology, WPA/WPA2 encryption, and a WPS button. It does, However, it also has some drawbacks, such as its large size, driver updates, and heat generation. Therefore, you should weigh the pros and cons before buying it.

Simple set up and works great !
I had been relying on a cheapo Chinese dongle but when it finally expired I bought this TP-LINK product from Amazon. It comes with an instruction leaflet and a set up CD which makes the setup process very easy in Windows 10.I had to download an earlier version of the setup software for my Windows 7 Ultimate setup on my multi boot PC. Once I had done that, the install process was as easy as the Windows 10 install. It works so much better than the old dongle, no waiting around for it to connect to my router, and Internet speed is twice as fast as it used to be.Now listening to Amazon Music with none of the problems that I used to have when I was using the cheapo dongle. I have Vodafone Fibre, I am now getting 100% reliable 110Mbps download speeds, twice as fast as the Chinese dongle could manage.
