Let me start by saying that I am a hunter and will primarily be using this scope in the field in pursuit of deer, turkey, fox, and coyotes. My sight is not what it used to be so I was looking for something to aid my vision, especially in the dawn and dusk hours. There are many products available but I was looking for something small, lightweight, not too high of a magnification, clarity, wide field of view and durable. This scope, along with the good reviews, seemed to meet this criteria. Honestly, I was a little reluctant to pay $39 for it, figured I could find something less expensive. But, I also figured you get what you pay for, and I wanted a quality scope, so I made the purchase. Upon receipt from Amazon I was happy to see it was packaged well and did not look cheap. Right out of the box I was pretty positive I made a good choice. It met all the criteria I was looking for. I have already used the scope while hunting and the very first time was impressed. The image was super clear with no distortion at the edges. The 6X magnification was perfect for my needs especially while bowhunting. I do not need to see very far, but it did well seeing off into the fields as well. It fit right in the vest pocket and the lanyard gave me the piece of mind that I was not going to drop it. It is very ergonomic as well. The field of view is amazing, very wide. But the real test was going to be at dusk. And once again, I was impressed. The larger objective gathered the light well and I could make out the details of a bucks rack right up until dark. I am very impressed with your product and believe it is worth every penny I paid for it. I take my gear very serious but do not have the kind of money that I can buy all so called 'top end' gear. I'm glad that they offer such a good quality scope at a good price compared to the so called 'top end' brands for 4 times as much money. I will recommend this product to my friends or anyone else who may need a good optic like this.

A really neat Monuclar scope. Comes in a nice case. . Rubber on outside with nubs to help you hold it without slipping. Metal inside and a nice weight. Very comfortable to hold. I wondered about perhaps it would not give enough magnification as it was 6x. I do have one that is 10xxx90 and it is nowhere near as good as this. I have better magnification and a wider view with this one. I am able to see my neighbors roof tiles that are probably over 300' away. I can also with the slightest adjustment see the flowers on my deck very clearly while with the other one, I have to fiddle with it to try and get to see what I want. The lens is very good and I can see everything without blurring. It took a second to adjust the eye piece. You just turn it counter clockwise and it extends. I had gotten my granddaughter their smaller one for college and she thinks it is great. Easy to take with her and see things she needs to see in a small version. Unlike the other reviewers, this was not a gift, nor did I get a discount for buying it. I liked what the seller had to say about it when I wrote a comment on what my granddaughter said. I get a lot of birds at my feeders and thought this would be easier to use than my binoculars that at 10x25. And so it is. I live with wetlands behind my home and this will help me enjoy watching everything that comes into it even more. A really nice, well made monocular. and a really good price for this quality.

I have been enjoying the scope so far. I will be using it for hunting this season because I travel many miles in a typical hunting day and do not like to carry the bulk and weight of my binoculars. Thus, I began shopping around for a lightweight monocular to use during those long days. I stumbled upon the Roxant and decided to give it a try. It's the perfect weight and size for a hunting hand held optic. The clarity is acceptable especially for the price and the focus ring works well. My concerns are its water resistance. Any good field optic should be waterproof rather than water resistant. The average home user would not need to use a lightweight monocular because they would not be carrying it for long periods of time. They would also not need a waterproof optic; it is the field user that the monocular appeals to due to its minimalist size and weight. As I said, field use requires waterproof qualities. Another key element with the monocular is its ability to be used with one hand. Binoculars CAN be used with one hand and focused with the same, but they are difficult to stabilize and steady in order to get a clear picture (as well as heavier). The monocular's inherent design is made for using and stabilizing with one hand. The focus ring on the Roxant can be used with one hand, but it would be far easier if there was an elevated piece of plastic (like a square knob or protrusion) that came out from the ring and allowed the user to utilize the strength of their thumb to adjust the focus. The leverage of the knob and the thumb would make it far easier to manipulate the scope's focus. Realize that a hunter will almost always be holding something else in their hand: a bow, a rifle, a shotgun, a walking stick, the side of a mountain, etc. Easier one handed manipulation would be key. The last suggestion I have would be a bit higher magnification. I realize that lowers the field of view in a scope, but I really believe most people using this scope will be more focused on a singular target rather than a wide landscape. For example, counting the points on a deer's antlers, watching a bald eagle perched high up in a tree, counting the number of turkeys in a field one at a time. This is where this scope could excel. All that being said, its a fine scope and at an even better price point and I look forward to using it this coming season.

The grip scope is very well constructed. I like the feel of it in my hand. Packaging and delivery were great. Everything arrived in great condition. I like the shape and size of the grip scope and the wide view for a 6x monocular is perfect for the close up bird watching we do. I love the weight and shape of it. If fits my hand perfectly. Also, the price was what I was looking to spend. There are other small 6x monoculars I looked at, but I thought the prices were way out of line. This one was just right for me. I bought it to use for bird watching and squirrel watching on our property. Larger powered monoculars just didn't work well from where we watch them. The Grip Scope is perfect for both of those. I love the rubber grip. It feels just right in my hand. Also, I can use the grip scope with my glasses on. Even with my glasses, I get full and clear view. That is a huge thing for me. It came with a fully enclosed case and a lanyard that is easily installed and removed when needed. I would buy this product again because of quality build, price and ease of focus and use.

I have had the scope a little over a week now and found I do use it more than I anticipated I would. Initially, I bought the scope for wildlife watching/spotting while hiking. I have used it in this manner. It was supposed to sit in my pack awaiting our next outing, but I find I leave it out on the counter-top in the kitchen as I am picking it up to view birds in the neighbors trees, a line of thunderstorms forming in the distance over the treetops, and helping a neighbor look for his little dog (yep was able to ID her in a neighbor's front yard before heading up the street to pick her up). It has also been out shooting as a spotter this past weekend. I bought it for its size, ruggedness and magnification. After reading an article about monocular magnification I decide to shop in the 6x to 7x range. I find holding this scope is very steady and easy to focus without any shake. I also like the width as even at dusk and dawn (great for wildlife movements), your scope lets in a LOT of light. The soft rubber grip makes it feel secure in my hand and I actually like this feature better than I thought I would. Size wise, it fits its own compartment perfectly in my pack. I do keep it in its case, within the compartment in my pack to keep the lenses protected, with the lanyard and cleaning cloth alongside. Really it is the perfect setup and that is one of the reasons I selected this size. In the hand, it feels like a very solidly built scope and I feel, with the enclosed prism that this scope was very fairly priced. I am very happy with my purchase, use it more than expected so no buyers remorse there, and have/will recommend this scope to family and friends (birdwatchers, hunters, shooters and hikers) for its quality, size and price. Seriously, you guys make a really nice product.

I looked through over a dozen binoculars and monoculars before finally deciding to purchase this particular one. Between price, size, reviews, and overall specs, I was pretty confident I'd found a good product. Shape - Feel - Size: Overall shape is great. Easy to handle, and fits well in the hand. Build: The overall build does seem quality. From the reviews I read by other users, it holds its own in the field and I'm not worried about just tossing it in my pack and having it remain intact. Price: Fair. Enough to give some notion of a quality piece, but not too much to be an unreasonable purchase for the everyday user. Use: I bought this for myself, to use out in the field during Wildland Firefighting operations. I am trained to work with crews in an effort to control and fight wild fires as they occur across the country. I wanted to have a better piece of equipment for maintaining a constant lookout while in the field. Knowing where the danger is at all times is one of the most important concerns in this type of work. Although I have not had the chance to use this scope in the field yet, I have high hopes for its helpfulness. Edit: I've had some time to play with this and see what all it can do. While I still agree with my previous comments regarding its design and build, I was actually disappointed with its range. While what I can see is very clear, I can't see clearly for very far. I could make out a car license plate from maybe 50yards, but then it would be a guess. Still well crafted, but not powerful enough for what I really need.

I’m very happy with my purchase. I was at my son-in-law’s penthouse overlooking Seattle and the Puget Sound. He has two of these scopes and I enjoyed looking at the skyline through the scope and bought one immediately. He’s a tech guy and trust his purchases. I liked the ease of use and the solid feel and the wide view. My scope arrived safely the next day from Amazon. It is small enough so that I can carry it with me when I go to the beach every day with my dog. I often see things in the distance that I want to know what they are. Now I can see them clearly. It fits nicely in my coat pocket and I keep it on the lanyard. Perfect size. I was surprised at how inexpensive and affordable it was, which is why I did not hesitate to purchase one. I am off on a trip for three weeks to the outer banks in North Carolina and am planning on using it there for bird and sea life watching. At home, as I said, I will use it mainly at the beach where there is a lot of eagle and osprey to enjoy watching. I like that I can use with and without my glasses due to the movable eyepiece. As a 75-year-old man, I like that the focus is easily adjustable with the grip so I know what part of the scope I am touching without looking. Great clarity. I feel like I am up to date with the latest cool designed tech stuff.

It's a great handheld scope with a good feel, proper size, well designed and of excellent quality. The price at $40 is a real bargain. Let me tell you how surprised I was while using it last evening. I went to my grandson's double header baseball game last evening. I was sitting behind home plate with a good view of the entire field. He plays third base but with my corrected vision of 20/30 facial features are difficult to see well at such a distance. Enter Roxant. After a minute I had the perfect focus (it's simple) and bingo, I could count his freckles. It was really easy to hold steady on any target on the field I chose. Of course I kept my progressive eyeglasses on at all times. Toward the end of the second game the sun was down and dusk was beginning. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much light the Roxant added to the focus subject. Any object on the field appeared to be lighter than when seen with the natural eye. WOW. Perfect. My wife and I have season tickets every year to the Utah Opera, to Hale Theatre (drama and musicals) and also attend other large seating area events. This was the main reason for my purchase. I now see that the Roxant will have many other uses such as visiting National Parks, big game fishing on the Atlantic Ocean, boating on Barnegat Bay and nearby waters. It will definitely work great in concert and theatre venues. Also, the information you provided about optical power and 6 X power being so much easier to hold steady than a 10 X power. You are so right -- I could hold the 6 X Roxant steady for many minutes with no problem. Initially I was thinking 10 X as provided in other monoculars made by Vortex, Celestron, Orion, Monoscope, etc. I am so glad I chose this scope. I am very happy with the product and recommend it without reservation for a very wide variety of purposes.

The scope is well made and seems very robust. There is a nice rubber grip all over the scope apart from the focussing ring which makes it easy to see and feel in use. The scope is light and pocket sized so easy to carry and it slips easily in and out of the case which is provided. I have used the scope for a week now mainly for bird watching and it's very easy to use. The wide field of view means I can locate the birds instantly. The image is bright and sharp. I extended the eyepiece about half way and found this most comfortable with my glasses. The scope still fits in the case in the mode. At 6 times magnification it is easy to hold the scope steady with no shake. I have found other uses for the scope...looking at one of my roof tiles and watching a squirrel picking hazel nuts. I have found no problem using the scope and it does seem brilliant value for money.

The Roxant Grip Scope was a Christmas present for my husband and he seems delighted with it... so yes, I'm happy! We took it out in the field to try it out today and it was completely fit for purpose. Both of us wear glasses and it definitely improved on what we would normally be able to see... very crisp and clear. The size and shape are perfect for taking with us when we're walking - it's lightweight and small enough for my husband to carry it in his pocket without being a nuisance or burden. Can be whipped out and is ready to use immediately if an interesting creature presents itself, no matter how fleetingly. Comfortable to hold, keep steady and easy to grip without dropping in the excitement of glimpsing a cool animal or bird. We have 35km of paths alongside a river in natural bushland not far from where we live. We walk there most days and love looking for wildlife. We frequently see koalas, turtles, fish, herons (and many other water birds), rakali's (a little like a small otter), bats, lorikeets, galahs, cockatoo's, rosella's and many more beautiful creatures. A convenient and lightweight spotting instrument we can take with us will be fun and I'm sure, enhance our walks.

Ótima qualidade, a um excelente custo benefício. Sou leigo, mas com certeza é o melhor monoculo que possui até este momento. Uma bela construção e lentes muito eficiente. Com toda certeza, recomendo a todos. A Roxant tem produto de ótima qualidade. Parabéns.

Bei diesem Monokular werden fast keine technischen Daten angegeben, mir ist jetzt auch klar, warum. Selbst die einzigen beiden Angaben 6x30 stimmen nicht. Der Obbjektivdurchmesser beträgt nicht 30 mm, sondern nur 27 mm. Die Vergrößerung ist nicht 6x, sondern nur knapp 5x. Die Austrittspupille liegt sehr weit hinter dem Okuklar. Das mag zwar für Brillenträger passen, für Nicht-Brillenträger ist es jedoch ein Problem, da man das Monokular auch bei vollständig herausgedrehter Augenmuschel ein Stück vom Auge weg frei halten muss. Dies begünstigt natürlich Verwackelungen und führt schnell zur Ermüdung. Eigentlich schade, das Bild ist ansonsten klar und ohne große Randunschärfe. Die Verarbeitung hinterlässt einen zwiespältigen Eindruck. Das Gehäuse selbst ist durch die Noppen und die samtige Beschichtung sehr griffig. Im Gegensatz dazu ist der scharfkantige Fokusring nur aus glänzendem billigen Plastik. Insgesamt leider keine Empfehlung.
