Fun Game for Kids into Martial Arts
My son loves martial arts, and this has been a welcomed toy in our home - especially during COVID lockdown. It gives him some exercise while we are stuck indoors.

Super Activity for Showing Your Skills!
We played Shadow Fighter to keep my kids physically active while playing indoors. It’s one of our favorite ways to get my younger son engaged in a fun activity without screen time or expensive sports equipment. Shadow Fighter is quick and easy to assemble and ideal for playing alone or with friends. Recommended for kids ages 6 and up, the electronic projector and handle can be played with in a darkened room in Training Mode or Battle Mode against the super Ninja Shadow fighter with cool lighting and sound effects. Such a fun way for the whole family to show off their quick skills!

Twenty minute toy.
I thought this would be a huge hit with my active kids. The device works just as described. However, the directions for learning each move was a little tricky. They also learned quickly how to glitch so it looked like they were doing the right moves with the device. They played with it 20 minutes to "learn" how to do it. It has not been back on since Christmas. I would not recommend this toy. The idea is great but the kids found it boring to just have to repeat moves and not come up with their own "creations."

Boring and hard to use
This game was really disappointing. Even in a dark room the shadow character was very hard to see. And then there are essentially only three moves you can do, and it’s really hard to sync up your movements with the shadows. It started to just feel like random arm movements. No strategy. My kiddo and I were pretty disappointed.

Yeah, a lot of fun for everyone!
Probably the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Fun for everybody drunk or sober. Buy some supplies to patch and paint the drywall too. Seriously, it’s a good time.

Great idea but not practical
Got this for my 6 year old who studies martial arts and boxing and they lost interest in it within 15 mins saying it doesn't do the right moves. It is rather hard for a young kid to follow because you have to do the set moves it tells you to do which are not technique based. Even just being swinging moves, the sensor doesn't pick up well and again you have to do the set moves it tells you to based on what the ninja does. We returned it. Cute idea but needs work.

A little disappointing
My 8yo asked Santa for this after seeing a similar one in a Sharper image magazine. Unfortunately it’s pretty cheap, the light isn’t very bright and has to be close to the wall. The images change by clicking a button and each time you do a hitting motion it does either a red or green light with cheers or boos depending on if you got the hit or the ninja. My 2 year old loves it lol. Just don’t recommend for older kids, I’d recommend this for 2-4 ninja enthusiasts 🙂
