I purchased two of these braces and loved them. Unfortunately, as Athledicts listing says, they were flawed and I had to return them. Athledict quickly contacted me with an offer to replace the braces which I took them up on because these braces are phenomenal. My knees always hurt and can sometimes completely give out without warning. I have to focus when going down stairs as this action really tests my knees. Each step down hurts and a knee is more likely to let me down. Once I got these braces all that changed. I'm not running around like a maniac now or flying up and down the stairs, but my fear of my knees giving out is gone. I'm still careful when going down the stairs, but it's so much easier with these braces.In the past, when I'm outside working around the yard, my hurting knees would have even more pain at the end of the day. Not so with these braces. I wear these when I'm running around doing stuff, (weeding, mowing, planting- I'm retired), and when I eventually take the braces off - NO KNEE PAIN! My knees actually feel better than they did before I put the braces on.When I first started wearing the braces my legs would hurt after a few hours. My fault. I had them too tight. It was a little bit of a learning curve to get it right, but once I did I no longer had this problem.The braces have four Velcro attachments. The top ends Velcro together as well as the bottom ends. Then the top and bottom each have a long strap that you wrap around your leg/brace and Velcro. You can increase or decrease the support depending on how tightly you pull these long straps. All this gives a very secure fit. I never once had these braces slip down my leg. The listing says the brace does not pinch the back of your knee. They aren't lying. The back is open (as is the front at the kneecap) so there is nothing there to pinch. The metal hinges on this brace are heavy duty. I was worried about feeling them through the brace putting pressure on my leg and making it uncomfortable. Not the case. There is cushioning to prevent this from happening. I never felt any discomfort from the metal hinges. When I first started wearing the braces I kind of felt like The Six Million Dollar Man. (Old TV show about a bionic man.) This was because of these heavy duty hinges on either side of both my knees. I quickly got rid of the odd feeling and enjoyed wearing the braces. With the improvements Athledict made to the braces I look forward to getting a lot of use out of them.I have no issue wearing this brace under my bluejeans. If your pants are tight fitting, you might have to wear the brace outside your pants. Cool fashion statement.In a nutshell, you can not go wrong with this brace. I highly recommend it as well as the seller Athledict USA as well. I would buy from these guys again with no hesitation what so ever. I'm so satisfied with the braces and the seller that I ordered their orthodontic shoe inserts.

I have tried numerous knee braces and had no luck stopping my knee from moving from side to side causing a sharp pain in the right side of my left knee. I purchased this one and now I can go up and down stairs without pain. It is also very comfortable to wear . Try this one . I think you'll be very satisfied with the results.

I hurt my knee doing a very hard leg day (for many years). I stressed my knee with overuse that resulted in a torn meniscus, torn MCL and microfracture of the tibia. Needless to say, the last leg workout did me in. By the time I got home from the gym my knee was swollen and unable to bend. The following morning I was in massive pain and required crutches to get out of bed. While laying in bed I found this knee brace ( and 5 others) on Amazon. I purchased all 5 and I can say with 100% this is the only brace that allowed me to have the support for a swollen, injured and unstable knee. I wore this brace to all my appointments since my injury, both my orthopedist and physical therapist said it has all the points of stability for someone with major knee issues. I was wearing the knee stabilizer from the hospital but that kept sliding down my leg and it felt clumsy and heavy. This brace is prefect for walking with confidence and support. I highly recommend this brace since I purchased 5 others to get the right fit, support and quality (and I even purchased a very high priced brand and that was too bulky and unable to bend, even slightly). The quality is awesome everything adjusts to my frame and swelling levels ( some days more swelling then others).

I purchased this brace as a replacement for one that no longer fit due to weight loss.I have an mcl injury on top of other nagging knee issues. I was given full range of price options in other braces by the budget manager of our household, (my wife). I was looking at other, pricier name brand braces suggested by pro athletes. I'm a huge sports entertainment fan and see what their legs and knees go through on a nightly basis and was looking at the braces some of those athletes wore. That's when I came across this brace. I liked the idea of the wrap around, closed back side and securing straps. It's exactly as advertised in that it's comfortable and doesn't slide down during activities. You can bet I'm recommending this brace to others.

I have a collection of knee braces, some very expensive. Nothing compares to this brace.I seem to be one of the fortunate (sarcasm, there) people whose legs bow out as they get older instead of inwards. Couple that with ankles that are pronated and life gets painful. Enter this knee brace. The metal hinges on the sides keep my knee from wobbling side to side so that I can keep walking, working, etc longer. The fact that it wraps on instead of having to slide it on, means I can wear it over my jeggings/leggings and even put it on after I start doing something and find my knee starting to hurt. I can also take it off when I am finished and not have to totally undress or have it pulling my leggings off. The design just makes sense and the brace just works. I bought one for my daughter, who has had knee problems since she was 13. She went to Zumba and was thrilled. Her knee didn't bother her a bit, and she didn't need to wear it the next day.Worth every penny.

Manufacturer says that product does not need returning for refund. Wrong! I will not get my money back unless I return the item. I have no problems returning it. But do not post that if you do not mean it.Item is poorly made, comes with no instructions for strap usage and hinges break away. This is not my first brace and this one has no bi lateral support at all. The straps are in the wrong spots for under or over knee support. Hinges work their way out of pockets that hold them.

Back in 2006, I had an Athroscopic surgery on my left knee. The orthopedic surgeon re-shaped my patella, the top of the tibia and the femur. Up to that point I had had many years of knee pain due to Chondromalacia Patella. Several doctors had me try various therapies as well as types of knee supports. The surgeon that I got referred to as well experimented in supports and braces, then moving to cortisone injections, not something I would recommend. Finally with the pain continuing we opted for the athroscopic surgery. From there the recovery was a bit of hell but I could again walk, work and play again pain free. And play I did, hard. Played hard, hiked hard, I lived a very active adrenalin junkie life.But within the last year or so, my knee began deteriorating again and finally about 6 months ago, the knee fully gave out. The gait turned to a 45 degree angle outward and through the last half of the walking stroke the leg would collapse under my weight. Stairs literally became impossible. I have been bed ridden this whole time which began leading to a deep depression. Just walking across my apartment to get to the kitchen was pushing my pain threshold to its limits.In an effort to try and regain some of my life again, I began looking around armed with my previous knowledge of various braces and physio therapies that I had been through to see if I could find something in a price range I could afford.Coming across your company and looking at your various braces I decided upon the xxx brace as a balance between performance and budget. My expectations and hopes were not high, as this being an internet purchase and no guidance from surgeons etc.When the brace arrived, I was excited. I watched your video on the two methods of wearing it and wrapped it on to my knee. First step blew my mind. Second step even more; the gait was back to normal and NO PAIN. I flew out my door, looked at the stairs and took the first step to a new life. I had no pain, I could walk up and down the stairs, full step with zero pain. (I proceeded to annoy my neighbour as I immediately ran up and down the stairs for about 5 minutes).I got dressed, bundled up for the weather and went for the longest walk I’ve had since being bed ridden. I finally was able to get back into the bush and hike again. That first walk I was in tears, crying the whole time. But these were tears of sheer joy and happiness. I do not think many will understand the feeling I had at that moment or for the next few days; a blind person who is given sight again would fully appreciate this night and day experience. There are truly no words to describe what I have and am feeling when I walk with this brace on. One does not know what they have till they lose it.This is not exaggeration, if anything, I am understating. Would I recommend this product or by proxy any of your braces: Oh hell yes! You have given me a new lease on life and a new look at the world around me. Thank you so much for a product that works better than advertised and in a price point that can suit most budgets.Again, Thank you for a great product.** Another high mark for this company, the customer service is outstanding. They go above and beyond to meet the customers needs and work well to find an acceptable solution. These are the only braces I could find that open on the front of the brace. It makes installing them easy to do. I tried other braces that open on the back, but I could not install them. These Athledict braces allowed me to walk again! My knee joints are incredibly stable in the braces. As a bonus I am pain free. The best purchase I have ever made!

Have been using braces like these since the 70's. Had one with some similarities which I really liked, so tried this one.Best ever, easy to put on, never moves, you forget it is there, put them on in the morning and take them off at bed, and no knee pain. Right now anyway these are only available from Amazon.com.
