Hey, it's not an actual wooden box, just cardboard with a graphic on it. Same with the board, it's made of hard flat cardboard, with a similar wooden graphic. It doesn't fold out, it's just flat. The planchette is made of plastic, but it takes batteries and lights up when turned on. Thanks!

Whats the difference to the board if you'er a beginner or a "professional"?

There really I no difference from beginner to "professional". I've used oujia boards a few times in the past year I wouldn't say I saw any major differences other than te material the board and eye are made of.

Here's what I believe, for it to move you need to go in to some kind of trans where u move but think something is moving u r hand... :-) I don't believe in these things, just for fun or experiment.
