Itâs good
The quality is great itâs a huge value for the price I got it. I play it almost every night the design is basic. And the thickness is basically as thick as a mouse pad

Gets It Done
Itâs not fancy, but it is what it is. I like that the board is small enough to fit inside the box without the fold you see on many game boards; that would have ruined the feel for sure. The planchette is cheap plastic, but I think itâs fitting for the price and also for the camp appeal of an inexpensive, mass-produced board game that is supposed to put you in communication with the spirit world. There are no instructions or other material inside the box apart from the board and the planchette, unless you count the lightweight cardboard tray keeps them in place. Everything the manufacturer wants to tell you about your new Ouija board is communicated on the outside of the box. The spin is a lot more âmagic 8 ball, fun at tween sleepoversâ than âopen a portal to another dimension and summon supernatural entitiesâ. Still, I wasnât able to find any mention of the product on Hasbroâs website. It simply wasnât there, rubbing elbows with Scattergories and Peppa Pig Monopoly. Mind, this is the same site where they have Risk and something called The Lie Detector Adult Party Game, for ages 16+. I noticed the age recommendation on the Ouija boardâs box is 8+, which sounds about right if they are hoping to spawn a âParanormal Activityâ reboot.Game play was pretty exciting! I set it up and played alone while I waited out an excruciatingly long antivirus update on my computer. In no time I had a compelling message from the beyond: âP-R-_â, the third spin landing on a featureless blank area of the board. Encouraged, I kept playing. The wealth of insight and wisdom coming through the oracle was truly astounding, evinced by such proclamations as âL-T-Yes-Moonâ and âB-R-9-M-Q-F-H-D-4â.Fresh off that towering success, next I tried to meet someone. I was hoping for H.P. Lovecraft, Aleister Crowley, or maybe even Sorrell Booke, but instead I communicated with an entity I believe to be a manifestation of Ellen Burstyn, who is still alive. She had plenty to say about the back injury she suffered while filming âThe Exorcistâ.All in all, this has been a great game so far, and I wouldnât hesitate to trust its input while making important life decisions, like whether I should move to Indiana, take up snorkeling, or try the new sugar-free incarnation of my favorite citrus soda.

GREAT STURDY BOOARD BUT MINE ARRIVED USED AND DAMAGED
My board arrived today and $10 is an amazing price. The board is heavy and well made. For those reasons I am giving it 5 stars but the purchase was a big disappointment for me.The first thing I noticed when I opened the shipping box was the Ouija box was worn along the edges. I was OK with that thinking it was from storage. Then I noticed the edges had light tape around it. I opened the box and the planchette was broken. I immediately returned it within an hour of receiving it. I mentioned to the clerk at Amazon Fresh that the box was clearly worn and the planchette was broken. She didn't respond. Not sure why Amazon would sell a used item. I don't know if I should try another one or just give up. Again, 5 stars for the board. I didn't think I should lower the rating for getting a used one.

Very short educational review đ
I played this game with my daughter and I couldnât believe it! We began by chanting âOuija are you here?â Over and over again. Then it did the craziest thing Iâd ever seen. It said, â nothing,â absolutely nothing. And so my daughter asked a different question to just like open up to the board or whatever ya know? So, we placed the arrow thingy in the center of the board, the clear part on the T. She asked a very personal question, she very much like tea, so, she asked, âdo you like tea.â I personally thought nothing would happen, but the arrow thingy, didnât move once again. Concerned, she asked once more. âDo you like tea?â Now, being the jokester I am, I thought this was the perfect set up for a joke. I personally didnât move anything as one does when playing such a serious game. But, to my logic, I think that the board likes the tea. Why? Because it didnât move from the letter T! Hahaha, Iâm the funniest. But then she spat at my face but thatâs not important. We turned off all the lights then put on a candle that smells like terrible menâs cologne which I wear if weâre being honest. We tried once again. We said good bye, and then restarted after watching a seven minute video of a guy telling us exactly what we were doing except we just didnât have the part that said, âhave an open mindâ which I guess we didnât think about too much.I grabbed a picture of my dead brother, and we asked the ouija board if he could come and visit on the board. Me and bro bro both are the jokester type ya know? And so, I thought it would be hilarious if we asked a stupid question to my dead brother. âDo you like fart slash poop jokes?â We were more than certain that he wouldâve responded sense this question is clearly an important segment in his humor. We waiting a minimum of like five minutes just like the box says, but absolutely nothing. Disappointed. The box claims, âJust ask it a question and wait to see what answer the Mystifying Oracle(trade mark) will reveal to you.â Now, we had candles and crystals and stuff like that. But when I tell you that was a friggin lie!? âSturdy Wood Ouija Board Featuring Original Graphics...â WHAT DO YOU MEAN WOOD?!?!?! THIS PEICE OF âWOODâ IS ACTUAL CARD BOARD?!?! WOOD MY ASS?! I mean it could actually be wood, but, they cover it up in paper so donât take my word for it okay?We did everything we could to summon dead people with this board including the part where we must, â...wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and moisture.â Whatâs gonna happen? Will the moisture that goes to the board be taken from my skin causing skin damage? I dunno. Iâm trying here okay?In the beginning, i already had little faith due to the fact that this board game is from hasbro. Ya know the place where they make toys and stuff for children? Why is this targeted toward children? Itâs like, ya gotta be 21 years of age to be able to drink alcoholic beverages, 18 years of age to smoke tobacco and marijuana and join the military to die, and 8 years of age to summon f-ing demons?I think itâs fun to play with, but I might die after making fun of it. Sorry demons.
