Decided to start composting... discovered we needed a kitchen container to collect the days cuttings etc... annoying leaving material lying in an open tub... Bought it on a wim having made a cursory look around...Got very lucky... Great wee bin.. sturdy not ugly to the eye..easy to clean in-between emptying. Def recommend and very good price point too.

Worked like a charm to keep smell and little flies away, which are especially annoying in the warm months. It's all stainless steel so it should last many years. It also came with a spare charcoal filter so you can replace the one that's already put there. For a couple, it is pretty good size, and depending on how often you cook, you'll probably have to empty it once or twice every week. There only one downside: the filter is part of the lid and is directly exposed to whatever food waste you have below. So in the instructions they recommend that you don't overfill the container, otherwise the food waste will come into contact with the filter, and then you're supposed to wash it etc. They could have put a stainless steel mesh or something to separate the filter to keep it clean. Overall pretty good and happy with my purchase.

This product is so good that I've recomended to friends. I'm a keen composter and this is great for storing my veg peelings and waste. Needs to be emptied every 2-3 days, but I haven't noticed any smells if left a little longer. The council food waste bags even fit nicely inside (which is good becuase they don't fit inside council provided bins!!) Also looks nice on the worktop. Alround great product

We use this for all our vegetable kitchen waste which we then empty into our composter in the garden 2 or 3 times per week. (2 person family) It is nice and solid and easy to clean with a pretty good outer finish in a brushed satin style. The lid can be removed with just one hand since the container is heavy enough even when empty, so that filling it is easy. Being stainless steel it should not rust and looks as though it will last for years. It looks nice on the counter top too. The filter is in the lid and quite tricky to get in and out. I removed it to wash it when it got a bit smelly from a rotten orange. Mostly the smells are contained well but some very strong smells get through and contaminate the filter. Normally it is not necessary to remove or wash the filter regularly. For the price it is good value and much nicer than the plastic ones with liners.

Very well made. Sturdy, good quality item. Came with a fitted filter and a spare one too. Looks great on the kitchen worktop and will be used for all compostable material. Our green bins are now going to a 3 week collection cycle with emphasis being placed on recycling and composting so I intend to make sure I put as little as possible into my green bin. This helps me do that.

I've had a plastic compost caddy before and I felt like after a while it was never clean. This caddy is great, I can fill it up and it cleans well afterwards. I don't have to worry about marking it if I need to scrape it out. And I think it looks smart in my kitchen. I haven't had to change the filter yet but it seems very straightforward.

Looks stylish. No smells leaking out. Easy to wash over. The lid is very tight and it can be tricky to get it off with one hand when I have a tea bag on a spoon in the other hand lol. But the look and quality of it outweighs this small inconvenience.

Nice little bin for the kitchen counter top. Unfortunatly the charcoal filter to remove the smells makes it nearly impossible to keep the actual lid assembly clean and hygenic due to the way it's installed with lots of little gaps etc. I drilled out the fixings and now I have a simple bin that can go through the dish washer overnight or be quickly rinsed in the sink. The filter really doesn't add a lot, these just need emptying once a day, perhaps two days. Leaving waste to rot in the summer heat with a 'filter' yuck. Would prefer a simple option without the filter

El material muy buena calidad, cómodo de transportar ya que la tapa cierra muy bien. Con el filtro no hay olores. Muy buena compra, si lo que necesitas es tener un pequeño deposito para lo organico para luego llevarlo a tu lugar habitual para compostar.

Der Kompostbehälter hat meiner Meinung nach eine sehr praktische Größe und ein schickes Design, sodass man diesen Mülleimer keineswegs verstecken muss. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und gleichzeitig ist der Eimer durch Material und Bauweise sehr leicht zu reinigen - Bioabfälle können darin sogar ganz ohne Zeitung, in jedem Fall aber ohne Plastiktüten gesammelt werden. Somit erfüllt der Kompostbehälter seinen Zweck voll und ganz und sieht dabei auch noch gut aus. Der Behälter kam zwar leider recht verkratzt an, der Kundenservice hat aber sehr schnell reagiert und mir mehrere sehr zufriedenstellende Lösungen angeboten, weshalb ich hier gerne sowohl für das Produkt als auch den Kundenservice 5 Sterne vergebe.

Giusta dimensione, si può tenere sul ripiano mentre si cucina, tutto in acciaio inossidabile, facile da pulire, no odori perchè c'è un filtro che non ne permette la fuoriuscita, bello da vedere.

Looks good after using for almost a month. Need to see how it holds in summers though as the temperatures are quite low at this moment so no flies.
