I felt that I needed to change my original rating on the product. While it did fail, the vendor contacted me right away and offered a replacement or refund for the entire price. They were very considerate and wanted to do whatever would make it right. I guess that the failure of one item shouldn't reflect on the entire line. Mine could have been a fluke. I had to order another one, and it's working perfectly. Based on the replacement unit, I have to give this now a 5-star and just put it up to make things happen.The network goes up for a second and then drops. I plugged the main switches and the same thing directly into the back of my router. The vendor contacted me immediately and offered a replacement which is working great.

I took me a while to figure out why this hub device caused my M185 wireless Logitech mouse to become janky. When you plug in this Ethernet adapter, do so as far away as possible from other adapters, especially for radio frequency (RF) devices. My wireless mouse became janky before I moved the adapter to the other side of my laptop, where it hung down far enough to not disrupt the mouse dongle.Please read the section on the page under Usage Tips.USAGE TIPS1. Make sure to use CAT6 or higher Ethernet cables, as lower quality cables will affect the internet speed.2. This hub will not work with the Nintendo Switch but is very suitable for laptops without a LAN port.3. I got this to work on a Surface Pro 9 which does not have any built in ethernet ports. I was able to use it to install Windows 11 from boot media and configure without issue. The three USB ports are perfect, one for mouse, one for keyboard, and one for USB drive.I only use this for short term use to set up machines, but it is perfect for that task. One thing I really like is that when you use this on multiple machines is that if you use the ethernet connection it will always get the same network address as the MAC address on the Ethernet adapter doesn't change. This is of course provided you keep the connection active. If you put it in a drawer for a month the network address will most likely change.

Most televisions and streaming sticks have a 10/100 ethernet port which limits speed to 100Mbs. I wanted to use ethernet for my new TV to avoid possible interference with all the other gadgets in the house. Plugging this into my TV's spare USB port somehow jumpers around the limitations of the ethernet port, and gets me 500 Mbs+. Can't speak for any other application, but this works. Doesn't make my tv stream better, but apps load a lot faster. Technology is moving so fast, I think I might have to find a 12 yr. old in the neighborhood and put him/her on retainer. Who knows what else I'm missing?

I bought this USBC to ethernet adapter product about 6 months ago. Its been sitting as an extra NIC in a corner of my home lab.Now it is exhibiting packet drops out of the blue. It is practically unusable. Packet drops every 30seconds or so.Tried contacting their support via the web form but never heard back. So there is to after sales or warranty support effectively.

I ordered this for my Lenovo Idea pad laptop that like many newer laptops do not come with Ethernet Network ports and only 2 USB Ports. This plug-n-play device works very well and was an awesome value too. I need to order another one as a backup. Great product and useful for my needs in a big way.

Y cuando eso no sucede así, entran sospechas de ser producto pirata.Pero, como dije antes, el adaptador está muy bien, su desempeño es excelente, además tiene muy bonita presentación. Espero que tenga muy buena durabilidad, y no que a la vuelta de un año o antes ya no funcione como ahora.También quiero comentar que al intentar realizar el pago, me rechazó el procedimiento de pago pues me pedía un código, el cual no tuve a la mano. Y después de varios intentos por fin se realizó la compra.Pero antes de eso me apareció la leyenda "tarjeta cancelada", lo que me llevó a intentar con otra. El resultado fue que después me llegaron al teléfono 6 avisos de cobros por compras que yo no había realizado. Todo eso hizo que tuviera que ir al banco y cancelar las tarjetas. Quizás algún empleado de la tienda, o alguien que tiene acceso a los datos de tarjetas hizo uso deshonesto y falto de honradez de esos datos.RECOMENDACIÓN: Siempre hay que tener mucho cuidado con los datos o códigos que ponemos al realizar compras en línea.
