No Leaks after 5 years of abuse and 75 countries later, finally buying a new set
I bought these Sea to Summit travel bottles back in 2020. I find these bottles to be more space efficient and leak-proof than silicon travel bottles. These bottles have survived a significant amount of traveling, backpacks, camping, suitcases, and business trips. Since then, they have traveled to over 75 countries and not a single leak after 5 years! I love these bottles. I finally am getting another set because the insert at the top of the bottles pops out from my hair conditioner being too thick. I use the large ones for my mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry detergent, and other types of toiletries. I use small ones for bleach for sanitizing water, and other small quantity liquids. They handle a wide range of temperatures (below freezing to 160F in a hot car in Arizona), and a wide range of elevation without leaking. I would imagine that they could handle Everest, Oymyakon, or rowing across the Atlantic just fine. I usually just write on them with a permanent marker and refresh them 1-2 times a year by wiping off with rubbing alcohol and rewriting the description. They are light, durable, and space efficient.

I LIKE IT!
I like Sea & Summit. They're one of those quiet outdoor companies that just make badass gear without fuss. (Sierra Designs is another btw) Lightweight, strong, water resistant zip, with strong little loop cutouts. Very nice. I haven't used the bottles but they also seem practical. I bought this for my little vital meds in my backpack, and I'm very pleased with it. I might buy more soon! If you need a little light clear bag to organize bits that might leak or shouldn't get wet, get this! They also make a pack cover that I love.

Same bottles used for Sea to Summit Wilderness Wash
The bag itself is incredibly lightweight, weighing in at 0.9 ounces (24g). Although it is not air tight, the welded seams and leak resistant zipper should keep any major spills out of your luggage. Another viewer commented that the seams should be sewn instead, but I disagree. As a backpacker, I've had many sewn seams leak over the years, but welded seams don't leak in my experience. When you sew something, you poke holes in it, and even sewn seams that are taped fail over time, which is why seam seal is used for tents. The bottles are hard to see in the picture provided by the manufacturer, because they only show the narrowest side of the bottles. These are the same bottles used by Sea to Summit for their Wilderness Wash and other liquid soaps (3 ounce and 1 ounce), and I would describe them as flat/oval. I have used these bottles numerous times, and have never had a leak, but I also use the included inner inserts with the small hole. As another reviewer noted, they are best suited for viscous fluids like soap, but harder to use with thicker fluids like conditioner. I'm not going to dock a star for this, because I got 6 high quality leak-proof bottles for a reasonable price, and not every bottle is perfect for every purpose. Sea to Summit is quickly becoming one of my favorite companies because they make lightweight, tough products. Although I bought this pouch specifically for airline travel, after discovering it weighs less than an ounce, it is going to replace one of my opaque organizational bags on my next backpacking trip. One tough bag, many purposes.

3 1/2 Stars and Would Buy Again
I wish I could give 3 1/2 stars. I more like it than not. I bought this in August and wanted to give it a whir before writing a full review. I don't know how the airlines calculate miles but according to Delta This have been with me over 10,000 miles in almost 4 months. I'm telling you this to let you know the usage this bag has sustained. I give the bag 5 stars The bag itself is very flexible. At first I didn't think much of the plastic but the more I have handled it (and TSA) the more solid the construction has been proven. It still looks brand new and cannot see any wear. The zipper has waterproofing but I have not had any leaks to test this. I have squeezed the bag and I air does slowly escape so I assume that liquids could leak in/out though the zipper. I am very happy with the quality, construction, and overall feel of the bag. Why did I deduct a star and a half? The bottles. The bottles are very well constructed but have very little give. They are perfect for shampoo but not for conditioner. Anything with a higher viscosity is very difficult if not impossible to get out of the bottle. They do hold their seal and I have not had any issues with leakage. I use these bottles for liquids like shampoo, mouth wash, astringent, and dish soap. Things like face scrubs and lotions go in GoToobs. The fact that I had to buy additional bottles to make this usable for me is why I deducted stars. Bottom Line- It is a good product and I would buy again. Happy Travels!

Quality costs a wee bit more than "sheesh!"
Great kit. Have used this STS product for domestic travel and never had an issue of quality or design failure. Pros: clear, TSA ok, pick and choose configuration, known storage capacities, limited space = choose contents wisely. Cons: for some, the dealbreaker can be price. "My mama told me, you better shop around"

Not that durable
Have been using these for 8 months; most of the bottles worked great. One of the bottles leaked after 4 months. I thought was from a loose cap but finally realized there’s a crack. Not as durable as I’d hoped.

Frustrating to Fill and a Mess to Use
I really wanted to like these, but they’re such a hassle. The little plastic tops that are supposed to pop off for filling are incredibly difficult to remove. I actually had to use a metal ruler to pry them open. I saw people on Reddit suggesting a small hook to do it, but honestly—why should I have to go through that when there are plenty of better-designed alternatives out there? Even once you finally get the tops off, the fill holes themselves are poorly designed. They’re just not wide enough to fill easily. If I try to squeeze shampoo or conditioner in, it quickly backs up and overflows because it doesn’t drain into the bottle fast enough. So I end up stopping every few seconds to tamp the bottle on the counter to make room—or worse, getting product all over the counter, shower, and outside of the bottle. Total waste of product and a big mess to clean up. The only nice thing is the carrying case, but that’s not exactly unique. If you enjoy wasting product and cleaning up spills, this might be for you—but otherwise, I’d pass.

Sea to Summit, gotta love it
Fast, free shipping. Painless shopping experience, and a great product to boot! I really like Sea to Summit. They have innovative products for outdoorsy people and frequent travelers alike. Their products are compact when you don't need them, yet they perform well when you do need them. I've used this pouch for the past year-and-a-half for my travels to hold my digital camera or keep my collapsible water bottle cool while I'm walking out and about. I liked it so much that I just bought a second one recently, because I'm sure it'll come in handy for something else. Also, it can't hurt to have a spare one of these things. All my Sea to Summit products are designed well and have good build quality. I have every confidence that the last for many years, providing of course that I don't abuse them! Their customer care is excellent as well. I had an issue with the carrying case for my travel towel. I contacted Sea to Summit and they resolved the issue right away by sending me a brand new case for my travel towel. Their products are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Excellent products, excellent customer service. I'm hooked!!
