Do these glasses contain Lead? I want them for a cake topper but I don't want it if it contains lead.

They should be able to fit a 10 year old boy. They are 5 1/4" across the face and 5 1/4" from temple to ear.

Are there clear lenses in the frames?

Do the lenses make your eyes appear larger? i need these for a sybill trelawney costume! however, the typical nerd glasses are too over the top.

Worked Well for Us

My 14 yo daughter bought these glasses for a 'Meg Griffin' costume. They were a little small on her face but the arms reached to behind her ears, so that was good. The lenses and frame were round and thick and made for a good 'Meg' costume.THOUGHTSThe main thing to know appearance-wise is that the frame is thick plastic. This should make them pretty stable. They were a little small on her face and mine, but the arms were long enough to reach behind our ears.We purchased another pair of glasses in case these wouldn't work. These alternative glasses --Harry Potter Eyeglasses Costume Accessory -- actually weren't as nice. They did have a Harry Potter look, but they were designed so they wouldn't stay in place.These glasses definitely worked for a Meg Griffin costume. And for other costumes you should know that they are sturdy and well enough made for a costume.

Be aware that these reviews do not all refer to the same glasses even though they are on the same listing. Suppliers change, but the listing remains the same. I bought a pair of these in October, 2013 and they were exactly like the photo. These were supplied by "Your Party Delivered" and had a brand name of Star Power. I ordered a second pair (going to the listing by clicking from my previous order to make sure I was ordering the same glasses) two months later and they are totally different. They are a matte finish, have a different shaped bridge and NO LENSES. They are supplied by Accessory World, have a brand name of Magic Glasses and cost MORE. Very disappointing.
