Great maintenance product!
This stuff is great. I live in SFL where we use the ac a lot. In addition to general dirt collecting on the coils, there is humidity and the condensation drain pan and lines clog with algae. I’ve been using this monthly, for two years, applying it when I change out the filters. The coils still look polished/new, the machine is just over 2-years old. No algae clogging things up either. I also have a rental with a 10-y/o system that would need annual maintenance to un-clog the drain pan and lines. Since I started using this product, I haven’t had any backup issue, and it is still cooling well. I also used it on a wall-banger and had good results. This is part of my monthly maintenance routine and after two years of use I think it is effective and great value. It is a maintenance product, not a miracle genie. If your coils are gunked up bad you probably need a pro to acid wash them, then start using this so stuff doesn’t build up again. Use good filters too.

It works perfectly as advertised.
I watched a youtube video on how to clean our mini split air handler or head. The metal fins will begin to get clogged with dust and the squirrel cage fan will also grow mold causing the unit to put off a dirty tennis shoe smell. After watching the YOUTUBE instructions and following the directions, lightly spraying the evaporator cleaner on the surface will cause the dirt and grim to fall off very easily. We can clean our systems simply, easily and efficiently whenever needed. This Nu-Calgon product is one of the best tools!

Works well on mini splits coils. Cleans everything out

Good for light maintenance
This helps keep the coils cleaner, but, does not cut the gunk as others claim. The AC is still working, but, it is only a patch. When someone finds the best solution, please let me know!!

Great for portable a/c's
My portable ac the evaporator looked pretty clean but the way the unit is designed, even if it gets a small amount of funk and dust in the evaporator it'll clog up and quit blowing air. They design them with the aluminum fins so close together so they can get the highest efficiency rating stuffing a 14k btu compressor in such a tiny package with a 12" by 12" evaporator. So anyways with the condensation drain hooked up draining outside spray this stuff around the back of the a/c evaporator coil with the unit running at the recommended 3:1 dilution and it'll pull it into it where the funk's built up and start dissolving it. After two applications in the morning on 2 consecutive days my a/c actually blows and cools like it was new. I'm just happy I don't have to take the cover off and drag it outside to coil clean it and hose it out like I was doing before. I wouldn't use this on any portable a/c without hooking up a condensation drain though. You'll just transfer all your evaporator funk to the condenser and plug that all up. It's meant to drain away with the condensate and not get pinwheeled up and evaporated on the condenser coil. I'm an a/c guy and these portable a/c's are great in every way except the fact it's near impossible to take them apart conveniently to clean it. If you got a portable a/c I recommend getting a jug of this and a sprayer and using it occasionally.
