This product is really well made. I didn't know what to expect with the leg pads and oval shaped wheel, but the build quality is excellent. I've ridden a unicycle (various sizes) for a couple of years, and have tried an Ultimate Wheel (which more accurately describes the Lunicycle), but I was not successful with it. The Lunicycle helps protect your legs where an Ultimate Wheel does not. After about two days of not that much practice, just mounting really, I'm able to ride it up and down the driveway. Long story short (too late I know) this is a great product, but I feel it would be difficult to learn without unicycling experience. Still , it's great fun and if you're looking for a challenge (not to mention a workout!) this is well worth the money. Go for it.

You'll break it before you get to ride it.
Not as easy to ride as implied. Will break leg braces before you learn. The strongest part needed is cheaply made and weak. Good idea. Poorly crafted.

Great fun, especially if you know how to ride a unicycle
Knowing how to ride a unicycle is of great benefit as you will already have much of the balance down. It took my son and I each about 10 minutes to learn to ride a lunicycle, albeit for only a short duration. We learned to get going by balancing against the side of a car and then pushing off. It's not the balance that kicks you ... it's the leg stamina that gives out -- there's no seat to rest on! Your shins will be a bit sore, but it's not too bad.

Good looking and durable.
Easier to learn than a unicycle - you'll probably be able to ride it a bit in the first hour of trying. It has 'easy' and 'advanced' pedal location but no indication of which is which (I assume the more outboard mounts are 'easy'). It's adult size, so buy the mini version if it's for a kid. I have no clue how to free-mount it and haven't seen anyone do it on the internet, but there will surely be more video available as time goes by.

It is NOT easy to ride, kids who have a lot of natural balance ability really struggle
Product came and is as it was represented, but this is no simple pick up and use toy. They will have to work at it for quite sometime, having others steady them prior to being able to be successful.

Not bad!
I have been riding/performing unicycles for years including unusual custom models and tall chain driven unicycles. This Lunicycle is easier than an "ultimate wheel", but not as easy to learn as is advertised. I wish the pedals/leg rests were metal and not plastic. The plastic parts may wear just fine, but I have no way of telling since I just got it. I would like to see more instruction on free mounting/dismounting and a few basic tricks. All the videos just show a beginner hanging on the some support and then simply peddling away. That said it's fun and I don't regret buying it. I have ridden it down the hallway in my home a couple of times and hope to add it to my act eventually.

This is a great invention
This is a great invention; but what it really needs is a seat that can be attached through the center...then the legs things would work great...any unicycle with this kind of pedals would be better.

Not a fit and now not returnable
It's a fun idea, but the design is not as expected and I'm unable to contact the seller thru Amazon to get assistance. The leg braces cause bruising and stick out too far to allow my feet to seat on the pedals, so it's not useanle for me or my nephew. For that reason, I do not recommend this product. We gave it a try and due to the design, it's not usable and outside the return window.
