Finally got round to setting this up and testing and man it makes a real dam difference. Also reached out to support for some additional info and they were very helpful and responsive. Defo recommend this, worth the investment and massively improved graphics clarity, thanks team!

Bought a GameCube for my son (into retro gaming), it wouldnt really display correctly on modern TV's (analog versus digital). I tried a few composite to HDMI converters with no success and pondered on getting this because of the price. Whilst its expensive it does work extremely well. I've not even had to go into the menus / setup, just plugged it in and instance success. The GameCube now looks perfect on our Samsung 4K TV (it scales up).So in short, expensive but if you have a GameCube well worth the money.

You can adjust the picture so it has scanlines, and that makes it look like you're playing on a flat VCR from 2005.The main issue I had is playing Star Wars Rogue Leader, which has a lot of cinematics. The unit would swap picture output each time a cinematic started, but it would have a delay of 0.5s-1s where there would be no picture.This happened over and over on this game specifically, but not on any other games, like Fzero or Mario Sunshine. It also happens when you first launch the gamecube, on the rolling cube screen, but that is negligible.It has a great picture, not as nice as an emulated conversion obviously, but probably the best picture taht can be afforded on the gamecube itself. It's also much cheaper than competitors.One major issue is I think it puts a lot of strain on the Digital AV socket. It's not that light and it has no support. The competitor's more expensive item goes into both Digital and Analogue slots to make it more secure.

A absolute must for gamecube owners wanting to connect to modern TV.....straight out the box plug n play so easy to set up.....many thanks plus fast postage A++++++

This worked perfectly for me. Check you have the right GameCube model. The last silver batches they made they removed the video slot this uses. You probably have to be unlucky to have one of those.

Stopped working after 2 weeks of use. Incredibly disappointing. Quality is very questionable - the whole housing came apart when I pulled it out of the GameCube. You’ve been warned.

Don't cheap out and get a cheap "HD" adapter for your GameCube. Just get this. You'll save yourself a lot of time and hassle and question your eyes a lot less.

The cheaper ones didnt work with my brand new Samsung tv - this one did.

Fantastic device! As the title says, this is the perfect alternative to the expensive adapters and the official Nintendo component cable that is extremely overpriced from overseas. If you have a digital output on the back of your model of GameCube, this is the best way to go in the best value out there. My only complaint is that the remote is a little tricky to use as the sensor is on the device which is in back of the system. So if your game cube is in a place where you can’t really get behind it, you’re gonna have a hard time using the remote.Other than that, this thing is flawless. A lot of nice little options in the menu. I don’t do anything with scanlines. I just want the line doubling for the games that are not progressive scan games. Games that are progressive scan like Luigis mansion, Sphinx, Vex, viewtiful Joe, etc look amazing in their native 480p. With games that are in 480i, The line doubling selection from the menu helps these other games look as best as I can. If you couple this with some thing like the Mclassic, these games will rival a PS3 or the Xbox 360 in my opinion. That’s how good these adapters work. Best investment I could’ve made for the GameCube by far. Get this adapter!

Es algo caro, pero la calidad es muy superior. Tienes muchísimas opciones con el mando a escoger cuando la gamecube da imagen en tu TV plasma, y además funciona enseguida. Tenía algo de miedo porque ya caí con otros productos y no funcionaron, pero este es perfecto.Tiene un conector HDMI y una ranura para conectarla a la GameCube, y ya a partir de ahí da señal a la tv y puedes configurarlo con el mando.
