Great Item
Works great hooked from my porta battery to my Ham Radio

Easy to read
I like this meter. It's easy to read. It's always on so there is some modest current draw even when there is no load. But it's likely very small. It would be helpful if the vendor included current draw in their specifications. But it is a good meter, easy to read, and it appears to be well built.

Power Poles are outdated
Technically is it fine, it does what I need it to do. At a time Power Poles where the defacto standard, but not for some time. The current defacto standard is XT-60, give or take. Would have been a 5 star product if it had come with XT-60 connectors.

Just as good as the 'brand name'
I compared this one to the priceyer competing product and can't tell the difference. Both give the same results with the same issues. The display is slightly different, both very easy to read. When placed in series to measure the same load they give essentially the same results. (Yes, one is measureing the total of the load and the other meter. The load side meter doesn't load the circuit enough to make a significant difference in the reading at the power level I checked about 5 Watts to about 65 Watts on an electronically regulated soldering iron - kind of a challenge to both meters because the load is switched.)

Lasted 10 minutes
The media could not be loaded. Didn't get one use out of it.Initial plug in/start up: it was fine and reading data perfectly. After 10 minutes the display scrambled and is no longer usable at any power setting.(Use was with a UHF/VHF radio at 10watts supplied by 12v3Ah LiPo battery)

If you are running off battery you need this
if your radio does not display what it sees for voltage. Especially if you are POTA or otherwise needing to run on battery power. None of my radios display the voltage so this is a good way to see how much juice is left. It also keeps track of Ah used so if you have a 12Ah battery you know when it is near the end. There are other interesting stats displayed too. This unit is worth it because (a) it comes with the Anderson powerpoles already attached to the source/load leads and (b) they've conveniently provided additional powerpoles to attach. That saves some money not needing to buy more powerpoles. I have one for each of my go kits.

Questionable accuracy and makes audible noise under load
I've had this for quite a while now but I only use it when I really need it because it's noisy. Whenever there is load attached, this thing emits a constant high-frequency whine (somewhere in the 10 to 12khz range) that becomes very uncomfortable after just a few minutes' use.I just ordered a similar, newer item from a different vendor, hopefully it does not have the same tinnitus-inducing properties.
