Amazon Fresh, Condensed Cream Of Chicken Soup, 10.5 Oz (Previously Happy Belly, Packaging May Vary)

I tried Amazon's Cream of Mushroom Soup in the past and I remember it being darker in color and thinner in consistency. It was levels below the Campbell's equivalent I grew up on. Even grocery stores' private labelled product was better by comparison.After seeing all the current positive reviews, I decided to give it another shot and I'm so glad I did. We lucked out and received cans that were free of dents. The formula is closer to the condensed Campbell's product we all know and love. I use the soup as a component to many dishes and the taste is equal as far as I can tell. Also, the current price is excellent compared to Campbell's on sale in-store. We will absolutely be adding this to future Subscribe & Save deliveries.

I've always bought Campbell's, but with the price $1.25/can now, I wanted to try Amazon's brand. I found it to be better, which was a nice surprise. It's a bit more salty, but I just added a little water, and it was fine. I'm sticking to this from now on. It's really nice to buy a product, which is less expensive and tastes equally if not better than a brand name.

Store brands have gone up and Amazon Fresh Cream of chicken soup is priced lower and makes a good base for soups, sauces or dishes having a creamy chicken base. Best of all was the free shipping so that I did not have to leave home to shop.

My go-to has been Campbells soup since I was a kid. I decided to do a taste test between this item and the classic Campbells Cream of Chicken (condensed).So one day I did Campbells and the next, I did the Amazon Fresh brand.This Amazon soup is a very close to Campbells and at the very worst it's a close 2nd.Campbells is richer but only by a small degree.I generally use it as an ingredient for my casserole and so far, I have zero complaints.

This soup tastes just like the kind I grew up with. The broth has good flavor and the noodles hold up well after heating. It is definitely on the salty side, so I usually add some extra water or a handful of vegetables to balance it out. Convenient to have on hand for quick meals or when I don’t feel like cooking.

The size and texture of the noodles are very good. However, the percentage of salt this soup contains is OVERWHELMING! I was looking forward to enjoy what I will refer to as a traditional chicken noodle, but was very disappointed. I was able to mix each can with a different brand of another soup to make the combination of the two tolerable.

Amazon continues to add items to their brand that are family staples. Their canned Cream of Chicken soup is one of those “Mom Go-Tos” that get used daily across the country to create good meals, whether its adding to a casserole, stuffing, gravy or just heating to eat on an upset stomach. It’s got a great smooth texture and its full bodied chicken flavor tastes as good or better than other well known brands. I can honestly say I have never experienced any dented cans on products that Amazon sends me directly. Also Amazon’s prices and quick shipping can’t be beat. As a cancer patient, I thoroughly respect the ability to order necessities today and see them on my porch within 48hrs. What else can I say— I’m SOLD!
