I am completely satisfied with these frames! The wood was free of any knots and defects. The cuts were absolutely perfect. Each piece fit together with its counterpart very snugly.I used a dab of wood glue at each connection and, while they provide nails in the kit, I used a pneumatic stapler.If I had to fuss about anything, the frames have a “new vinyl” odor to them and the wax is pretty well non existent. I wax my own frames though, so I wasn’t even shopping for prepared frames…. This just wound up being what appeared to have been a good deal (and it was!). Hoping that will help with the plastic smell. These are for swarm traps, so I’m not too worried about that and am sure it will fade over time.

I was looking at getting into bee keeping, but didn't want to spend a bundle for my first run at it. Eventually I would like to build my own hives, but I wanted a quick fix for getting into it. This bundle was well reviewed and did not disappoint! There were a few pieces that were 1/32-1/16 of an inch in or so offset from the main beams, but I expected much worse for the price and what they are. The all connected quickly and fit tight. I used a pneumatic gun with staples instead of the supplied nails just to make it easier and less stress on the wood. They are great quality and will hopefully last me for years into the future! One of the best parts of this package is the amount of wax put on the foundations! You can smell it when you open the box and I am sure that the bees will take right to it. Definitely recommend it for beginners and if I need some quick frames again, I know where I will be looking!

My 10 frames came with everything including bag with probably 20 more nails than needed although it's a bit weird some have big heads and others small. Had my 8 yo help glue and nail together. Did all of it probably in 45 minutes. The nail qa could use some work but as I said there was lots of extras. One nail actually had its tip smashed into a flat shovel shape, never seen such a thing.

I have bought all my beehives (3), supers (3) and frames (30) from Bee Castle and this is the first time I have been less than 100% satisfied. The normal tight fitting well made joints were now extremely loose and made assembly a lot more difficult since everything was constantly falling apart until the glue got tacky enough to hold it together...other than that they were still good frames.

Husband was very pleased. Set is already put together and good to go!

These frames are terrific, especially at this price...I was planning on building my own frames but I spied these on Amazon and couldn't resist trying them at this price.I couldn't be happier with them! The material is solid, well cut, and easy to assemble. The foundation has plenty of wax on it and the nails are even included - enough for six nails per frame (four on top bar and two on bottom). The instructions were clear, but I decided to use glue as well as nails (only 4 per frame), and I assembled the frames empty and popped the foundation in after which I find to be easier.I would not hesitate to suggest people buy these. At $2.60 pee frame, these are a steal.

The Panels were very easy to assemble.
