XDUOOTA-30 Bluetooth 5.0 ES9038Q2M DAC&Tube Headphone Amp USB/COAX/OPT Input Amplifier

This is the first time I have had a valve audio product.I was apprehensive about installing the tubes,but it all went okay.The units Bluetooth recognised my iPhone immediately and I was able to start streaming music.So far so very good indeed.The only gripe was the mains cable being 2 round pin instead of uk 3 flat pin.Fortunately I had a spare ‘kettle lead’ from another unit I could use.Something to bear in mind though.

First DAC and happy that I picked this one. Yeah its a bit on the spendy side, but I don't mind paying for quality. Very well packed and it arrived in a week despite some confusion with DHL. While it only lists Window, MAC and Android support - the Manual also lists Linux Support - gave it a try and it Was Plug and Play with my main Debian Linux desktop. VERY Happy with that. Big improvement to the sound while using headphones.

The USB-DAC/preamp part is absolutely fantastic. Works very well with my Denon amplifier and B&W speakers.The headphone amplifier has a rich, warm, detailed and musically engaging character.The gain is WAY too high though. Even with the Sennheiser HD650, the level becomes unbearable at 10/11-o'clock on the volume knob. That would not be a problem if the unit didn't suffer from an L/R-channel imbalance up until aproximately 9-10 o'clock.Making the unit unusable without an attenuator, separate volume control. (for example Nobsound with amazon SKU B07GRRS8SD or similar).Or a load that is extremely heavy (HD650 is on the heavier side).The gain issue (that forced me to buy additional kit) knocks a star off a product that otherwise would have been a given five.A side note is that the unit I received had loud, mechanical hum coming from the unit. Probably from a vibrating transformer. Not sure if this is related to the design or if my unit is faulty. Everybody might not be bothered by this, but I have requested a replacement.

Ich war schon länger auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten KH-Verstärker, der meinen HIFIMAN HE1000V2 anständig antreibt. Der benötigt nämlich aufgrund seines Systems einen recht hohen Antrieb.Das Hörerlebnis ist absolut genial - ich habe meine alten Musikstücke neu gehört. Details sind auf einmal zum Vorschein gekommen, obwohl zig mal gehört, aber nie aufgefallen. Der Verstärker bringt ein neues Hörerlebnis für mich.Die BT- Codecs ausreichend - mehr ist immer besser!Im Vergleich gehört mit ADI-2DAC, AUNE Flamingo, FiiO M11 und M15 - SENNHEISER HD800, HB800S, HD820 und AKG K-812 und andere hochohme HIFIMANZu Meckern gibt es wenig - das verbaute Lautstärke-Poti ist recht billig - das bemerkt man bei sehr geringer Lautstärke - da ist die gehörte Mitte bei mir deutlich nach rechts verzogen. Das Poti werd ich daher bei nächster Gelegenheit gegen ein höherwertiges Produkt tauschen.Der Verkäufer hat seinen Sitz in Hongkong - Es kommt noch der Zoll/MWSt und die Bearbeitung dazu - in meinem Fall hat es ca 140 Euro zusätzlich ausgemacht. Der Verstärker kommt gut verpackt in einem Karton.

Non posso che dire benissimo di questo amplificatore ha tutto connessioni e suono eccellenti. Vorrei capire dove trovare online le valvole da sostituire per migliorare ancora la qualità d'ascolto.Qualcuno sa indicarmi con quali modelli e/o marche si può miglirare la performance di questo amplificatore ? grazie

When I initially received this unit it had a defective rectifier which I needed to replace. As I was going to replace the rectifier I figured I would go ahead and replace the what I knew to be cheap tubes with higher quality mulard's. With the stock tubes this amp exhibited a lot of power and decent sound but nothing amazing. After I replaced all the tubes it completely opened up and definitely punched way above its price point. Even with the added cost of replacing the tubes I still find this to be an excellent amp for the money. The only other negative issue I have encountered is a very small volume in balance at the lowest levels. This is only really a problem on very sensitive headphones
