Bright, reliable, and surprisingly clever
I bought this for our Europe trip. These head torches are the kind of gear you don’t realise you needed until you’ve used them, and now I won’t go camping or DIY-ing, very easy to use.Brightness! There are different modes but the brightest mode is seriously bright. The LED throws out a clean, wide beam that easily lights up a dark path or attic crawlspace. And with multiple brightness modes, you can dial it down when you don’t need full blast, handy for saving battery.Speaking of battery, it lasts a long time, it still works now even after months of use, I’ve used mine for hours on end and haven’t had to swap batteries yet.Comfort-wise, they’re lightweight and adjustable. The strap fits snugly without squeezing my skull, and the angle tilt is smooth and stays put. No awkward slipping or forehead dents.Tech tip - If you're using rechargeable AA batteries, these torches play nicely with them. Just make sure they’re good quality, the brightness really benefits from a solid power source. For the price, getting two in a pack is a win, I gave one to my wife.

Reliable, bright, and perfect for hands-free use!
I bought the Lepro 2-pack head torch set for a combination of night walks, DIY jobs in dark spaces, and occasional camping trips — and they’ve turned out to be incredibly useful, especially considering the price. Having two in the pack is brilliant — one lives in my toolbox and the other in the car, so I’m never caught short when I need hands-free light. The brightness is excellent. With 150 lumens, it’s more than enough for walking paths at night, checking under the sink or rooting around in the loft. You get several lighting modes — high, low, red light, and red strobe — all of which are genuinely practical and not just gimmicks. The beam itself is broad and evenly spread — not too tight like a spotlight, which makes it great for general tasks. On high setting, it lights up a good area ahead of you for walking or working, and the red light is surprisingly effective for preserving night vision or avoiding disturbing others. The headband is stretchy and adjustable — fits comfortably over bare heads, hats, or even a bike helmet. The torch body is lightweight so it doesn’t bounce or slide around while you’re moving. It pivots up and down, which is super handy for adjusting the beam without having to tilt your whole head. Each unit takes three AAA batteries (not included), and battery life so far has been very good — several hours of continuous use with no dimming. I tend to use the lower setting for most tasks, which conserves power while still being bright enough for what I need.Build quality is decent — mainly plastic, but solid enough for light drops and water-resistant for use in drizzle or damp conditions. I wouldn’t submerge it, but I’ve had no issues using it in fog and light rain. The only improvement I could suggest is a rechargeable option, but at this price point, having two battery-powered units with reliable performance is hard to beat.In short, these Lepro head torches are cracking little tools. Great to keep one in the glove box, backpack, or garage. Excellent value and a practical choice for camping, dog walking, DIY, or emergencies. Highly recommended.

Reasonable budget option, better value for money at the time as it was a twin pack for less than £10
No frills reasonable quality (early on with limited use at time of review). The alterating flashing red/green is a gimmick which is a bit pointless. However, the remaining lighting options are reasonable and enable use without blinding user/others.

Bright and reliable head torches
These head torches are excellent value. The beam is bright with multiple modes, and they are comfortable to wear. Waterproofing is a useful feature for outdoor use, and they are great for camping or night walks. The red light mode is especially good as it preserves night vision and means your eyes adjust more easily when you switch the torch off.

The first rule of prepping club
Great for the money. I’ve bought a few now. They are really sturdy, bright, comfortable to wear and easily adjustable. Just need a fly squat now to help with all the bugs it attracts when I’m out in the dark.

Update - Seems difficult to open battery compartment but item is good overall
Was able to open battery compartment with the help of a kitchen knife and I can now say that the head-light itself is good. Room for improvement regarding the design of the battery compartment opener though. Also not very keen on the mechanism to angle the light forward - would be better not to have that I think, as it makes it feel unstable as if the light will just fall forward whether you want it to or not.

Great light for camping and walking the dog at night 👍
The media could not be loaded. Really good. I initally brought these for camping and they worked really well. I have also started using them whilst walking my dog late at night and they are great! Adjustable angle and with a few light settings, although i only used the high beam torch effect , when its pointed down right in front of me it lights up and i feel like a spaceman the way it illuminates . I've been using the same batteries for 2 months. Only using for 30 min walks at night 3/4 times a week and theres no sign of light dimming or any need to replace the batteries yet. It has a comfortable soft head strap. Would defo recommend. For camping or night time dog walks 👍
