Needed to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 5558 that has 2 slots but requires low voltage DDR3L so I bought this and after a few seconds I went from a 2gb and 4gb to 2x 8gb for a total 16gb system RAM. The 5558 can use 16gb DDR3L in each but they are terribly ridiculous in price so 16gb max works for me especially since I am running Linux that is very light on resources unlike Windows. This is the second Rasalas brand memory product I've purchased and both have worked great.

I'm usually a bit skeptical about product descriptions and reviews which claim a technology piece is plug and play. I'm about as far from tech-competent as can be and used to dealing with that one extra little step everyone else takes for granted, thinking anyone but an idiot would know that step without saying. Well, I'm that idiot. I'm the one who scours the 'Tuube looking for answers which are obvious to everyone else. So I was pretty surprised when I dumped in a pair of these memory doodads and nothing bad happened. As for performance, it's not super easy to tell what I gained (went from 12MB to 16MB). If I were a gamer, perhaps I could tell what this $14 bought me. I figured it was worth a try to slightly improve the performance of a 10 year old PC. Mission accomplished, I think. I give 5 stars solely because I didn't have to seek help after the install.

Great price, I've installed 3 sets of this ram and it's excellent. Highly recommend.

It arrived, it fit in the slot, it works.4 stars, rather than 5, for two reasons: (1) same memory available slightly cheaper if you catch it on sale BUT free shipping from Amazon balances that (2) memory seldom fails if it works the first time, but you never know. If I'd reviewed this in five years and it was still working...it'd get 5 stars.

Product works for Toshiba Satellite L655 laptop due to correct frequency. Ordered a different set but was the wrong frequency. Works with this earlier computers without Windows 10 blue screen error at beginning of boot up. Check your Ram frequency to match your PC Ram to the proper ram memory boards. Some bios allow adjustment depending on your mother board. Check spec sheets for acceptable frequencys. It works with my Toshiba laptop PC.
