KAISH 43x3.5mm Flat Bottom Pure Cattle Bone Electric Guitar Nut for Strat Tele Guitars

I purchased this as an upgrade to a plastic nut I bought for an Indio Telecaster. It was a bit think for the nut slot so I slowly sanded it down to the correct width and it slotted in perfectly. It took no more than 5 minutes using a flat sheet of sandpaper. Once installed I immediately had better tuning stability on the guitar and have been very impressed with the playability of the guitar. I liked it so much that I have bought a coupleMore as upgrades for other guitars in my collection. If you are looking for a high quality bone nut, you cannot go wrong with these.

As expected, this nut needed to be sanded quite a bit to reduce the thickness, and just a tiny bit for the height. This was not a problem - using 80 grit sandpaper, this task was completed in about 10 minutes.I'm not sure why the other reviewer had issues and referred to this item as "...Fragile piece of junk", I had dropped this nut several times onto a ceramic tiled floor, manipulated it while sanding and it withstood everything just fine.I’m very satisfied with this bone nut. It helped improve the tone and sustain of my 5-string Fender bass project, and I highly recommend it.

The KAISH 43x6 Flat Base Cattle Bone Guitar Nut is a perfect fit replacement part to the guitars broken nut. It fits snug on a 1970's era Les Paul LP19. I would recommend this purchase.

great product, but you will have to file the strings slots more. Measured my 9-48s and file to specs..
