I'm just excited it fit!
Put this on my Squier Debut P Bass and it fits perfectly!! No sanding... And yes, the Debut P basses have a flat bottom nut. Install was easy, great value because it's cattle bone so no binding. I trust this more than plastic. Personally, I didn't have to do any filing but that's just mine. It seemed to be filed well

Buy Multiple
Great product but definitely but multiple if you havent done it before. I went through about 6 5 string nuts. Definitely improved sound quality. Recommend a belt sander as doing by hand would take an hour or two.

Needs Some Sanding.
I would have given this 5 stars but the string spacing is .040" wider overall than than the existing nut on a 2006 Tele. I bought the shortest one and I am .060" too tall on the bass side so I will sand it down and do the correct width for the strings with nut files. The fit in the slot is perfect.

Huge time saver if in a pinch
I’ve only ever made my own nuts from a bone blank. But I tried one of these out to save time and finish up my last acoustic guitar build and it worked out great. It took way less time than making one from scratch, which for the guitar I’m making has became a necessity to finish immediately or I will burn it in a fire. This guitar build has caused me the most grief out of any that I’ve made so far. I’m not selling it, so it just needs to get done. I’m at that point with it. Anyway… The nut is about 6mm thick and my nut slot was 5mm so I only had to thin this one down a bit to fit in. The string spacing is fine. It was barely wider than my slot so I just had to remove a tiny bit of length which I did on the high E side so as to keep the distance from the edge of the nut to the low E string where it was, which is about 4mm. I’m not sure how often I’ll use one of these, but it worked great. It is actually bone and it appears to be bleached. Matched the bleached bone saddle that I had already made perfectly in color. The height of the nut was perfect in my case. My fretboard is about 1/4” thick in the middle and the radius of the top of the nut seems to match my 14” fretboard radius almost perfectly. The slots for the strings are there, but just enough to hold the strings, so naturally, they will need to be filed some in order to get the action at the nut right.

Fit Epiphone Les Paul Perfectly
Fit my Epiphone Les Paul perfectly. The slots needed to be lowered slightly which is expected with any nut installation. I'm very happy with the product and will purchase more in the future. I've been modifying guitars for 25 years and I highly recommend this nut.

Just a little bit of work to make it fit
It was a hair thicker than the nut slot on my bass, so I had to sand it a little ... but once it went in, it seated perfectly. I was expecting to have to file the string slots, but they were already JUST RIGHT! Why can't basses come from the factory like this? I bought it to replace the original nut on my no name Fender clone which was too high (I could fix that by filing) and had the strings unevenly spaced (no fix for that, and I can't even figure out why they would do it...) The difference is subtle but I can feel it.

Excellent!
Great fitment for my tele neck. I had to sand it down just a tad.

Too Short For American Fenders
This nut is not wide enough for American Stratocasters.

Dimensions were correct.

I don't see why anyone would pay for a more expensive nut. These are cut well and are no different than any other pricier bone nuts. They are all just bone after all.

Had to file the height down a little which was high which was expected. Happy with the results,
