ExOfficio Men's Nio Amphi Short

I have owned a pair of these for two years and they are holding up well. Air dry well. purchased a 2nd pair. These are my go-to shorts in town as well as hiking/backpacking. Both the belt and the numerous pockets are in excellent positions. Highly recommended. I do not mind paying higher prices for quality. This is the case here.

The put these on to go for my first hike and caught the edge of the pocket on the square cabinet knob from the door under the kitchen sink, of the house I was renting. The cabinet door tore off the hinges and the screw holding the knob bent. The decorative stitching on the outside of the pocket ripped. Yes, they are that tough!I wore them for over a week, hiking all over the mountains and canyons of Utah. Comfortable, easy to clean and quick to dry. Extremely high quality. I absolutely recommend them!

Nice and lightweight, but no left rear pocket and the "cargo" pocket openings are too small for my big hands. I prefer the Nomad edition to these, but they're still comfortable to wear.

Great fit. Nice pockets and love the fabric, it does dry quickly and it's very light. Use them a lot cycling, they don't get all sweaty like my regular shorts do. Ordered a second pair, so I must like them!

sturdy pants but they are not as long as the picture shows. I wear a large and they are above the knee. Would buy again though.

Do you know why these shorts cost so much? Because they damn well work. Best shorts I have ever worn. I had them on for days while in Vietnam and never felt uncomfortable. I even slept in them on overnight trains with no problems They are so light that you forget your wearing shorts. If I could give it 6 stars I would. It's the old adage, you get what you pay for.

I like the fit of these shorts and the material dries quickly and seems to be durable. The length is perfect. I ended up purchasing another pair in a different color. I just wish they weren't so expensive.
