Dotop PSP 2000 3000 AC Wall Adapter Power Charger

As simple as it looks, it is what is is! A Play Station Portable charger. It gets the job done and charges any PSP devices while gaming, when off, and when in need to simply refuel. I have no complains about the product what so ever. It does seem "lighter" in weight compared to a standard Sony charger but this may be because Sony licensed products contain more... material and construction in their products verses competing brands like this item on Amazon which simply provide the charging necessities and that's it. All about quality and durability in the long run. For me, I simply need something to keep going. Quality comes last and this item fulfills the duty to keep gaming without flaw.

this was a simple purchase, needed a power cord for sony psp that was missing its charger. i have purchased cell phone chargers as well from amazon because they are very inexpensive, even after paying for shipping and handling. i have learned that this is the way to go for these types of items, so far i have always found what i needed. this charger was just what i needed and does the job. a good purchase overall.

If you are getting this for a small kid who wants to play and charge at the same time, then this product might not be very good for them. The only reason I say that is because the adapter to the power brick doesn't fit together too well. Just from regular movement it sort of came out and stopped charging. NOT a huge deal though. As long as you don't tug on the cord then you will be ok. Other than that, it does a great job.

I ordered this for my son for his PSP. The stores wanted a crazy amount for this and with my son asking me to get a new power cord, I went to amazon.com. I am very happy with how fast that I received this product and that it actually works. I would highly recommend this company/product to anyone. Trust me, with a 10 year old boy bugging me every minute of not being able to play his PSP, this company helped me out. Signed a very happy customer!!!

I got this charger just when Amazon said I would get it, however..... It won't charge when the PSP is off. It will continue to charge all night but when I play for an hour or two it will lose a battery bar. the plug for the psp itself is very long....it says on the box that it's for 2000 series. I have a 3000, maybe that's why? I'll play a psp for hours and hours so having to turn it off just when the story is getting good because my charger will only let me play for an 1-2 hours is annoying. maybe I should take a break? >_> Oh, and it makes a high pitched noise when plugged in...is that a bad thing?

I wanted a very cheap charger that would work all right. This is it, or at least one of the many. Quality is entirely reasonable. It emits no sparks and nothing falls off it. It does not appear that it will catch fire. Charging activity is normal and my Sony reader is still alive after a couple uses. It's a bit hard to understand the negative reviews now. Perhaps they had a run of bad product earlier? But this sort of thing is sold everywhere, and it just works all right without being anything brilliant.

Purchased on November 4, 2012. For less than 4 dollars, I was able to charge and use my psp3000. Have not had any real problems with it. Like others have said, the connector isn't snugly fit but it works. There seems to be a hit and miss with working units. Mines is always under heavy usage, being cycled among 3 psp3000s. The original psp charger "POPPED" on me after excessive usage, but this device, even under torture, is still kicking it. I rate my experience with this device 5/5 stars. Extra: The seller I purchased this from was SFPLANET. Original psp charger from retailer was 20+ USD; I took a risk and got lucky =D

In the case of this charger the first problem youll notice is becuase its generic and supposedly for multiple regions is that it wont stay in a normal american wall socket, so you have to be careful about home much you move it around. The 2nd and more aggravating problem imo is you cannot play and charge at the same time like you can with both a usb and standard charger. If on your psp your doing anything beyond looking at start up menu it will stop charging.
