My MacBook Pro was fading fast and the battery was getting worse and worse as the days went by so I decided to take the risk and get the best cheapest battery I could find. And I lucked out. It works fine. This laptop battery is compatible with my MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch A1502 (Late 2013, Mid 2014 Version) ME864L and gives me at least 4 hours of run time. That's pretty good considering I was only getting 40 mins before. Worth it!

Sadly I do not have any pictures of the battery but I can confirm that it was perfect! It fit right in and was easy to install. Came with mire then enough screwdrivers (that I still use). The hardest part of Selling an old MacBook is the battery and putting it in made it sold out in Minutes! Couldn't compare to other batterys but great option non the less.

Bought this product a long time ago. Finally installed it, only after 45 charges, the battery does not last, perhaps an hour. Battery monitor says service recommended (need new battery). Reset CMOS, does not help.

Had to return the battery. It came with a damaged cable.

Decided to replace the battery myself. Although it was a bit difficult removing the old battery from the laptop case (no fault of the seller), I was able to easily install the new battery. My battery life has improved significantly and I have had no problems thus far.

This battery replacement sucks. After one year it barley holds 50%

I installed this a week ago in my 2013 macbook pro 13-inch. The install procedure is non-trivial and no instructions were included so -1 star for that. Fortunately there are lots of youtube videos covering the process. Also the included pentalobe driver was the wrong size. Not a problem for me as I had a good set already, but definitely a disappointment. At first I thought there was a technical problem because the magsafe 2 charger's status light wouldn't come on. After 18 hours on the charger, disconnecting, and re-connecting, the charge status indicator started working and I could perform the power management calibration cycle without worrying I'd be left with a dead battery and unusable laptop. Since then the laptop has been working well and the factory battery's "case bulge" is gone (yay). FWIW, I only give 5 stars when something has significant extra value in some regard, so 3 from me is "pretty good."

My battery was completely dead and would not hold a charge. This battery saved my old Macbook! A bit tedious to replace, but it was possible and I'm glad I bought the new battery.
