Generic Wii Nunchuk/Nunchuck Controller

I wrote 3 stars at first because my alexa said how would I rate this item and I forgot I bought this. It works perfectly right out of the box!

The bottom line is that the nunchuck worked for about 30 minutes to an hour and then it just wouldn't connect anymore. So why am I giving this seller 5 stars? Because I sent it back and had a credit to my bank in 3 days. 3 days!! No hassles, nothing but great customer service.

These components typically break due to the nature of their role in game playing and everyday abuse. Consequently, they need to be replace periodically. This can be expensive buying in a normal retail environment. (ie. Walmart, etc.) I have not been able to beat the online purchase price. The quality of the online product appears to be as good as the originals that came with the game system. I good purchase I believe.

These are an inexpensive alternative to the official product. They do feel to be a little light duty so I'm not sure how well they'll hold up for long term use but so far they work well and have only have one minor glitch. My daughter was playing Pikmin 2 and the joy stick seemed to get stuck in on direction and she had to unplug the nunchuck and reconnect it to correct the issue. That said its the only game we've had issue with so perhaps it's a game related issue and not the hardware. If that ends up being the case I will update this review and give a fifth star because if the controller isn't the issue then it's well worth a 5 star review. We bought 3 and only one has had the issue and only on the one game so I hope to give an update soon.

But these are non OEM nunchucks. Our kids, their friends and even I cannot tell the difference. Feels the same and they look identical to the untrained eye. And in the games we play, ( mostly Mario games) no noticeable difference. About three months old and no issues Would buy again. No complaints, great price

In hindsight, I should have ordered the OEM Nintendo nunchuck. The item out of the box felt flimsy; it worked ok for about a week (with normal use) then began to experience a faulty connection, which would cause the nunchuck to stop working and the Wii to stop recognizing that a nunchuck was plugged in. A few days after that this nunchuck would result in our Wii remotes getting out of sync altogether. Eventually we just tossed it in the trash and sprang for an actual Nintendo Nunchuck. I comparison shop a lot before buying anything - hopefully you can benefit from my time investment and review. This was a poor choice that I regret buying and one that ended costing me more in the long run...not to mention having some kids frustrated by a crummy functioning nunchuck!

It's a basic Wii Nunchuk and quality is average, rather light to hold, but functions well for kids and/or adults. Good price and was delivered early. Has held up with moderate use and no issues at this time.
